Chanyeol Lay Sehun and even chen have credits for writing some exo songs, chanyeol and sehun (the rappers) have a subunit called exo sc and they produce and write most of their songs, lay is a successful soloist in china and he does EVERYTHING in his solos, he even had his own entertainment companies and trainees. Also exo has 3 main vocalists and 3 lead vocalists but they all can sing even the rappers

This a funny guide for people who already know the group - it really is unhelpful for getting to know them. The clue is in the name. Great fun, but not so informative, it produces more questions than it answers, pretty much every sentence needs explaining. It's really hard not to write reams correcting and filling in on everything! Xiumin (pronounced like Shu-min) is the eldest but not the leader. This guide, like others, is done in age order, age being important in South Korea. He's quite quiet and was not leadership material when they debuted in 2012, although he is now the leader of the sub-unit EXO-CBX. Suho is a born leader and had been training longer than any of the other members, so he naturally got the role. He is an excellent leader. I'm stopping there. Please try to watch a more helpful guide - Pastel Kookies, Goldjongin, or Cesah Oh's individual guides are popular, although I like Asia's first love's guide to Kai.

This guide is so bad haha this is made up of old inside jokes from 2013 and no actual information but I guess its funny? No they didn't save Kai for last, Kai is just the second youngest and I think this is supposed to be in age order even though they messed up with Chanyeol D.O and Chen but well. Almost all Kpop groups live together for the first several years after debut and many even live together as trainees. For example, most of the NCT members still live together in SM's dorms even after more than 6 years after debut. But the clip of Xiumin cleaning the room was not in EXO's dorm. That clip was from a reality TV show called Homebodies where a group of Idols and actors from all different companies lived together for a week or so as part of a TV show. Xiumin and Kang Daniel were roommates on the show and Kang Daniel is kind of messy and a lot younger than Xiumin, so Xiumin was cleaning up after him. LOL No the EXO members do not still live together, they debuted in 2012 and they now are all in their late 20s and early 30s and are very rich, so they can afford to buy their own homes and apartments. Idols live together when they are first starting out because their company pays for their living expenses and dorm moms hired by the company take care of them. Plus it is a good way to make sure the group becomes really close and starts forming bonds to make them a tight group. It usually takes several years for them to start to earn enough money to pay back their debts they incur while they are trainees and to save up money to live on their own. (Some choose to still live in the dorms long after they can afford to move out because it's more convent and they like living together, but most move out and live on their own at some point in their career.) Those clips you keep seeing of the EXO members where it looks like they are living together are actually clips from reality TV shows where they go on trips together and film them on the trip. The clip where you saw Suho in the red dress was a special stage that he and several SM artists did for an SMTown concert in 2014, where they did a parody of the song and choreography for "Something" by the girl group Girl's Day, and not only was Suho involved, but Minho from SHINee, Kyuhyun from Super Junior and Changmin (Max) from TVXQ also dressed up as girls as part of that performance, kzbin.info/www/bejne/kICvZYydd5Jpias. (They are all part of an idol friend group called the Kyu line.) Also, here is a behind the scenes video so you can see all the boys up close, kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJKmlIyXibaaa6s (I couldn't find an English subbed version, but they don't say much, so I don't think it really matters.) In the beginning EXO had 12 members and they were split up into 2 groups, EXO-K and EXO-M. EXO-K sang and performed their songs in Korean and promoted in Korea and EXO-M sang and performed those same songs in Mandarin Chinese and promoted in China. EXO-K had 6 Korean members and EXO-M had 4 Chinese members and 2 Korean members. However, since then, 3 of the 4 Chinese members have left the group (short answer to focus on their solo work back in China) but there is still one Chinese member left, Lay. (Any performances or MVs you watch that took place prior to May 2014 you will see all 12 members.) However, now -- because they no longer have enough Chinese members -- they no longer do separate promotions, but they still produce almost all of their MVs and main songs in both Korean and Mandarin they just now promote all as one group EXO with 9 members. Yes, due to all the political issues between Korea and China and the fact that Lay, EXO's Chinese member, was unable to participate in activities with EXO, SM partnered with Lay to produce English songs and he released his first all English/Mandarin album in 2018. Lay also started promoting as a solo artist in the U.S. in 2018, so he started learning English. Lay now has 2 English albums and he often creates English versions of his solo songs. D.O. also has a few English versions of EXO's songs and several members have done covers of well-known popular western songs. (EXO also has many Japanese songs and they also have performed Spanish covers. D.O. even has an original Spanish song on his solo album.) However, just because they sing in multiple languages, does not mean they are fluent in those languages. Lay and Suho are probably the most fluent in English, but most of the other members don't speak English well. Members like D.O. and Chanyeol are really good at singing in English, but they don't speak English well. EXO has been in the industry for more than 10 years now and almost all the members have writing and producing credits on one or two or more EXO songs and their own solo content, etc. If you want to know how many songs they wrote or produced themselves search "EXO's discography" and take a look at the dozens of songs and albums they have as a group, as well as their sub-unit songs and albums and all the members solo songs and albums. There are too many songs to mention. You will also discover that all the members of EXO are actors and most of them have starred in K-dramas and movies and/or are stage actors. For example, D.O. is considered one of the most respected and talented Idol actors in the industry right now. Promoting as a group only takes up a few weeks a year, so in order to fill their time and continue to make money all Idols have side projects, which means most idols also spend time as actors, models, Radio DJs, authors, music producers, songwriters, regular/main cast members on variety shows, etc. If you really want to get to know EXO better, you should check out "The Ultimate Guide to EXO" and/or the individual members guides by Cesar Oh. The guide you watched was more designed for someone who already know the members of EXO. Since you are brand new, I think you will find the other guide I suggested much more helpful. As the title of this video says, its an UNHELPFUL guide for anyone who really wants to get to know EXO. This guide is more of a guide for EXO fans to entertain them with all the memes and inside jokes. I'm sorry, but you can't even pick a bias yet because you know next to nothing about any of the other members. This guide did nothing to help you get to know the members of EXO, and you only picked Kai as your bias because he is the only one you sort of knew before watching this guide. Please check out Cesar Oh's 9 individual member guides and then we will see who your bias ends up being. LOL

Thank you for your genuine reaction and appreciation of EXO! As the title suggests, this guide is unhelpful. It has a lot of old EXO memes from 2013-2015ish. Most clips that made no sense were from Korean variety shows (They can be very wild/random). Some answers for you: 1) The members started moving out of their dorm in 2019, but they still keep the dorm for their use. 2) Suho is the leader of EXO. He is a very caring and respected leader. He loves bad puns and dad jokes. 3) All members of EXO are multilingual. All speak Korean and Japanese to a certain degree. Lay speaks Chinese, and Sehun has been learning it for a long time. Lay and Suho both speak english, but all members understand it. They have sung in many different languages (Korean, Chinese, Japanese, English, Spanish), and reportedly have very good pronunciation in all of them. 4) The sheep is Lays zodiac sign and he identifies with it a lot. (SHEEP is one of his solo songs). 5) In Kpop it isn't super common for all members to be able to sing well. 6) EXO's company SM Entertainment, is very reluctant to let it's groups take control of their music (they have let up some with their more recent groups). EXO's have written songs and lyrics and fought hard to get those released. At least 2 members want to be Producers (Lay + Chanyeol), while many others are lyricists. They take a lot more control when it comes to their solo releases. 7) Most guides in Kpop will place the members in age order (because of Korean culture). 8) The "Coffee Commercial" is actually an EXO mv called "Universe". It is a very beautiful song and mv.

EXO are so powerful as a group but it's incredible how talented they are individually. 7/9 have solo careers. I'm waiting for the moment you will react to Kai's Mmmh and his solo music. Unfortunately, this guide is so updated. For example, Kai is a global fashion icon with numerous cfs and campaigns, ambassador of Gucci and ysl beauty. He has won a prestigious award as an entertainer for his role in Netflix show "New World". He pursued ballet from a very young age. He choreographs and is good at drawing. He has also acted in dramas as all the EXOs have done some acting, too.

The worst guide to be honest. But liked your reaction very much. I hope you will continue to react EXO. They have the best vocal line in whole k pop and Chen is the best among them. And I have to say, not everyone in k pop can sing most of them are bad singers but it is not about EXO

I think you should react to real GUIDE, cause this guide is not too accurate. This guide not showcase all side of member and talented side of member. I think that shows just baekhyun, chanyeol, chen, and kai. I can recommend you to react EXO'S INDIVIDUAL GUIDE from "Cesar Oh".

Agree we others this is meme funny vid, like Suho is mother of 8 because he is the leader. I recommend the Ultimate Exo Guide and also individual guides. Xuimin is pronounced like Sho-min. All members can sing and dance "Vocal Kings" for a reason. Chanyeol produces his own work on his platforms, he has also written many EXO songs, and he writes he own raps. D.O is the award winning actor of the group, and is in the main vocal line (although they can all sing beautifully) ... also my biase. This guide is as the title states unhelpful.
