@@SL4F There is some randomness to it. You have to keep moving around. It doesn't generate all at once. They generate one by one it seems. And I have literally seen one disappear when I was about to click on it because I shifted the camera angle.

I mean, if they want us to be excited about these events, they should really pump up the xp rates. Those of us that are maxed shouldn't care how fast newer players level up (i know the toxic do) but having players level up faster just helps the group bossing scene and gets more people playing around the holidays. I mean, pvp has been killed, so why the gate keeps the xp rates.

Lol gatekeeping xp in rs3, that’s a first time hearing that for me. Yes, xp rates for these events are terribly low. But even at lower levels, there are plenty of other activities that will give you very fast xp in the main game

Nice video, anyone who is curious it appears the golden eggs can be in different locations for different people. a few of mine were in slightly different spots. i think about 8/12 were the same tho! :) edit: also wiki has most spots updated now!

Would have loved to see something like an easter egg hunt instead. Where you could find random easter eggs while skilling combat etc. each easter egg had a chance for different things, and finding them had a total count that you could turn in for xp/bxp or cosmetics. Each egg had a chance for the same things and coins when opened, and you could disassemble each egg for random invention comps. Every hour you could join an event where you could play with other players to an instanced area where you could go on an actual hunt for the eggs, gaining hunter xp in the process, crafting/construction xp for opening them, invent for disassembling them. I think that would have been a lot more fun and chill. Still appreciate the guide protoxx, love you dude!

Thanks! I got the quest done! Plz have your map open and show us the locations on it. Without it, it's difficult to figure out where you are going and where we should go. What is that closet with eggs? What's that about? How do I start the golden egg hunt? Do I speak with a specific bunny or just start? Are the eggs lying around or do we dig at a burrow? It said north/east and I am there at a burrow and getting hunting xp. Will I get the egg right away or does it take time? I am so confused hehe.

- Guide says to buy everything from the GE - goes to Al Kharid garden first and then goes elsewhere due to spacebar instead of using the grape on the clothes line, potentially saving a trip

honestly the herblore station is not bad for ironman, at 72 herblore i get like 17exp every 3 secs (averaging 1/3 of the time on correct task) which is like 21k per hour for free

Hi protoxx so I logged out after I dried the grapes and got all the other ingredients and it says I need to give the ingredients to the Easter bunny but when I try it says I need coco and I don’t have coco anymore when I logged back in.. do you know how to find him and fix this 😢

You are the type of the player who caused us to switch to a dark age of holiday events, go away. A nice holiday quest with a cute reward, a gorgeous new festive area, several fun Easter egg hunts similar to clue scrolls, and then a nice little dose of grind on the side. Flooding is with XP, lamps, Wrapping paper, etc… are horrible for game and should have been removed far far faaaar sooner. This is exactly how holiday events should be done. If you don’t like it fine but the shit you are asking for is what the majority has been praying they would remove and they finally listened.

12 eggs a day are only if you want a hard clue casket, the daily hunt only needs to be done once to unlock the others and the daily egg hunt does not give egg points so you don’t feel pressured to do it

Egg spawns are random, but hey I mean it's not like you only have 24 hours to find all 12 for each day, that would be absurd since that there's something called school, work, and the endless list of things that has to be done around the house. Thankfully Jagex did already think of this (otherwise they would prove to the entire world that they have a combined IQ of an Easter egg) so there's no rush, take all the time you need to find each respective egg - as long as you do it within 24 hours of each day (which then gets cut down to maybe an hour and a half if you happen to have a life and can't play computer games all day long) In addition to that, Jagex also thought about people with colour blindness, and those who may be feeling under the weather (how thoughtful of them) so if you happen to find yourself in either group, just tick of whichever in-game box that applies to you (in my case it would be having a life) and the timer pauses until you can finish it, without, y'know, stressing out even more than you already are because you're already carrying the world on your shoulders. In case you didn't get the memo (I don't blame you, sarcasm can be difficult to detect when it comes to text and lack of emojis): Jagex did *none* of this. You have said 24 hours to find the eggs, and if life, blurred vision, or sickness comes in the way - too bad, but, hey, at least now you know that Jagex does in fact have the combined IQ of an Easter egg!

@@nuke5126 Ended up having to, but it's beyond me why Jagex didn't take any of these things into count, and simply expects the community to do their work for them. Don't get me wrong, the event itself is amazing, and I like the idea of having wild golden egg hunts with limited time for the sake of adding some competition into the mix, but it's just not the best time to do so when people are at work, in school, busy laying bricks, taking care of the roof, etc. They could at least have waited with such a competition till the summer holidays kicks in, and people have more time on their hands. Also the whole colour blindness thing, a lot of people actually struggle with that (myself included) so having such an option would do a load of difference I feel like (and isn't that the entire point, to make the customers happy?)
