Same goes for endometriosis. Contraction pain every month and no baby; worst of both worlds. And I have to use a tens machine like that to try and combat the pain (the signals sort of confuse the brain a little and baffle it so you feel the electrical impulse instead of some of the pain). You did well though guys. 😂❤

I didn't know what would or would not freak out other people, so I tried to not get graphic. I had surgery for Endo at 17 after 3.5 years of hell, pure shear hell.. I still have a Mirena even though my husband had a vasectomy, to help with a lot of the issues.

Fellas, that's nothing! I was in labor for 24 hours, pushed for 3 hours, and my baby was too big, (4200 grams) so 9 lbs 4 oz and after all that I had a C-section. My incision got a staph infection, and I was in the hospital 11 days on IV antibiotics. She said if I went home, I would die. 😂 Good times!

Now imagine a 4 for weeks at a time (I have had uterine issues since my early teens)...that's what contractions do. . . . squeeze ...relax...squeeze . . .repeat. I don't remember a whole lot of pain in my labor with my oldest but he was a 25 week 6 day double footling breech with a prolapsed cord so I was getting meds to stop it. I was asleep during his c-section. Now with my youngest, at 32 weeks I started hemorrhaging, the medical condition was Placenta Abruption. The pain was so bad I lost vision in my right eye until they got the spinal block placed. So it was literal blinding pain, I honestly thought I was having or had a stroke..bonkers!. I was never so glad to get a needle stuck in my spine as I was that day. I was told in no uncertain terms not to have another child. I didn't and I dearly love my 21 yo and 18 yo sons.

LMAO!!!!! This has made my day!! You guys got off easy!!! Women feel that pain in their stomach, back, and vajay jay's. For hours and sometimes days. I had 4 children so I went through the highest level 4 times! I sent this video to my husband and told him to buy one. I have 3 sons and a son(in-law) and I want my husband and boys to do this on Thanksgiving or Christmas party. Whoever lasts the longest will get a prize. Maybe I'll even post it!!

Depends, every woman’s labor is different. ‘I swear to god I’m gonna kill you’ - exactly what many women say to their husbands during labor! BTW - the pain stops/starts as muscles contract to move the baby through the birth canal.. with short rests in-between. Welcome to giving birth naturally!!!

I was one of the lucky ones who was in labor for a relatively short time... 4.5 hours, no epidural or other pain relief. It's quite the experience. I definitely feel for those whose labor lasts days! Then there are women like me who have specific health issues that intensify period symptoms. I've tried the period simulator and even at ten it wasn't as bad as my cramps. It's uncomfortable but I could easily function normally on ten.

My question is have any women tried these labor simulators? Are they really similar? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying contractions don't hurt like a bitch, but I'm not sure these are an accurate measure of how that feels. The simulator is contracting abdominal muscles, which are large skeletal muscles. Labor is contracting the smooth muscle (a completely different type of muscle fiber) of the uterine wall. They both hurt a lot, but I wonder how similar the experience actually is. I want to see a woman who has given birth try the simulator.

Try standing up…walking… 5:36 BREATH…IN THROUGH NOSE, OUT …HEHEHEHE HAHAHAHA HEHEHEH HAHAHAHA 6:16 You’re getting closer to pushing 😂 7:07 Anywhere from 10-72 hours 9:34 “ I swear to G-d I’m going to kill you!” ..Said by many women during labor. 10:50 It is meant to built empathy . The next time your partner , sister, mother etc has their period you will have an idea of what they are feeling in terms of pain. Plus You will be a better “ birthing partner “ having experienced, to some degree, what the pain is like. Each time the pain starts it’s a contraction . The time between contractions gets shorter the closer you get to birth. BIG UP GUYS❤

Respect guys. Regular monthly period pains can go for days, at the upper range levels (7-8) for some women - and some poor souls go through long long births, then add some of the medical issues. Doesn't even account for the ripping skin and stitches etc, the back pain, in my case the burst eye veins. I think it's an important lesson for all boys to have some experience, so they have some empathy for the women in their lives. I think it's one of the most unreasonable things about being female, monthly agony for some of us, and guys get grumpy when we snap a bit sometimes after a long day just doing daily tasks while going through that pain. Yeah, respect for doing this live - thanks. If I had any money I'd send some!
