Looked like a good camp. Food looked good, too. I always love a good stew over the fire. When I see people baking in a Dutch oven, I always try to remind them that you need far less coal on top than you think, just so it doesn't burn on top 😂 I still would have eaten it and loved it, even with some char on top!

All I ever have is soft wood so I need a bit more coal on top. This time I left late so I brought a bit of hard wood. Those coals get really hot!🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for watching!🤝

@Anndyinthewoods haha that they do! I didn't think about that, as we have almost nothing but hardwood around where I am, so that's just what I'm used to. Hope you have a great weekend!!

Nice vid, Andy! 👍 I’m diggin’ that tent and I totally want a hot bowl of stew now!

The more I use that tent the more I like it. There's nothing quite like the smell of a woodstove burning as you lay down in a warm sleeping bag. The stew was delicious! Thanks for watching! 🤝

Looks like a great outting! The stove looks great, I love all the windows. Will be shopping for one this winter. Good idea for the bread, maybe try top and bottom pie plates? I always have to stick my oil by the fire in the morning for breakfast! The stew looked awesome glad to see it made the trip! I’ve never used sage in a stew. Cool! 😊

I don't use fresh herbs very often. Still trying to figure out wich herb goes with what. So far it's all trial no errors. Everything I've tried has been good.🤣🤣. Thanks for watching!

Good idea putting the tin foil plate on the bottom that should prevent stuff from burning, have to remember that
