A HUGE Snowstorm & Crippling Ice Storm COMING...

A massive winter storm will produce significant snow, crippling ice, and severe weather across parts of the United States this upcoming weekend. This could be one of the strongest winter storms the Ohio Valley has experienced in several years, for some areas! SNOW: A significant swath of 8 to 12 inches or more of snowfall will extend from the Midwest into the Ohio Valley, and Mid-Atlantic. ICE: A crippling ice storm is likely with the potential for a half-inch or even three-quarters of an inch of ice accumulation across parts of the Lower Ohio River Valley, parts of the Tennessee Valley, and Mid-Atlantic with this storm. SEVERE WEATHER: A notable severe weather event could unfold across the Lower Mississippi River Valley and into Dixie Alley this weekend, particularly on Sunday, January 5th, 2025. Parts of the Ohio Valley will get 8 to 12 inches, locally higher amounts possible. Maryland and Delaware looking at just a few inches, probably within the 2 to 4 inch range as it looks right now.
