The hunter might not have been cruel. She had an injury and he didnt have the time or knowledge to dedicate to her getting well. He could have had her put down but instead he found these people and put her in their hands in hopes that she'd be better off. It would have been really easy to have her put down, remember that.

@@drizzo4669 Honestly, I completely agree with you. If I had a dog that suddenly couldn’t walk, and didn’t know why- I wouldn’t know what to do. I could not afford thousands of dollars of vet bills and hundreds of hours of therapy. I could not possibly dedicate that money or time into her journey. I would give her away to a foundation, because I couldn’t provide anything for her. They never even explained what happened to make her paralyzed aside from “inflammation.” She is a beautiful dog with an amazing personality and she deserved a new lease on life but if I were the original owner o would have been at a loss in the beginning as well.

This little dog has so much character and I am so pleased she was able to walk again with your care. I had a lurcher who was knocked over by another dog and severely bruised her spinal chord. She was in hospital for a week and was able to walk again but still had problems with her sciatic nerve. She was a happy dog and lived till she was 18 years old a very precious girl

I used to have a cat name Apai, he was also paralyzed and couldn't move.. But we tried really hard to make him walk again but we gave up because it's impossible to make him walk again.. So we spend time together, went to a hotel, went to a beach, travel in a car even if he cannot move. We had so much memories together, and I'll never forget those happy memories together.. Rest in peace Apai, I hope you're playing up there with your new Family ♥️

After the end of the hunting season in parts of Spain, especially in the communities of Castile and Leon, Extremadura and Andalusia, hunters get rid of their dogs by abandoning them or by destroying them, then buy new dogs the following years. It's very tragic and needs to be outlawed. Goggle it online and you will see, very common practice to dump this kind of breed of dog.

En España hay un grave problema de abandono de perros y gatos, actualmente tengo 8 gatos recogidos de la calle, pero hay muchos más animales que necesitan un hogar. I want to start an animal shelter in Mexico after my Father moves back to his old town. My Father has told me many stories of the strays there, the conditions are brutal for those animals and forces the animals to be absolutely ruthless. I hope that I can help them one day. They don't deserve it.

I really wanted to cry watching this beautiful creature just talking with her eyes 🐕. She is so expressive. It makes me wonder how anyone could cause her any pain they inflicted on her... Just to see her eyes wouldn't even let no one ever harm her. She is such a beautiful Puppy. 😍

I got the idea from hunters who used her and threw away. There is more than one of type pain alright. 👍 understand, or is your porch light still off!

@@annadestefano2929 A hunter gave her to a facility that could care for her because they couldn't. I'm sure you think taking someone dying of cancer to the hospital is inflicting pain and you "wonder how anyone could do it" too?

@@jNS278 He could have just put her down but she somehow ended up going to this wonderful place where she was able to get extraordinary attention. He may not have thought there was any hope for her or he couldn’t afford to pay for treatment. We don’t really know. We had a chocolate lab (eleven or twelve years old? We lost track)whose left hind leg was getting weaker and stiffening up. She compensated with her right hind leg but got to the point where she would flail around trying to get up. It was heartbreaking. We helped her as best we could, at first by putting a foot under her butt and giving just a little lift and eventually putting a sling under her belly and trying to lift her without hurting ourselves in the process. I think she was in a lot of pain because she couldn’t seem to find a comfortable position. She had some kind of infection (urinary, I’m sure) and smelled bad. The three humans in the home are all at least sixty, with various health issues (one just went to the ER by ambulance this morning) and it was hard to get her into the car to go to the vet. We finally had to take her in a few weeks ago and end her suffering the only way we knew how. I wish our sweet girl Diva could have had a comeback like Avellana.

wow! the effort these people put into helping her was really just phenomenal. they really put 110% into her treatment and physical therapy. I truly wish every animal got that same opportunity, she did . Her recovery is absolutely amazing,
