I heard about this guy who shot a big buck wrong and had to track it but by the time he got to it some other hunter took its head and he got a picture of him walking off and he said he called the hunting police and they took all the meat as evidence so so they can use it if the guy tries to enter the head in a competition. Turns out I think they just want the heads to hang on their walls. Theyre not too interested in meat. Probably a clue on why this guy decided to keep her head as a trophy and dump the meat. Humans are naturally social creatures. Everywhere you look, there should be signs of this. Humans are truly wondereful. It's these anomalies, and the anomalies who end up deciding the direction of society. But look at you, being empathetic. Even when you know (or hope) both people are okay, you're still concerned, and sympathetic about the emotional harm of seeing someone who has been turned into a naked, decapitated corpse. Humans are fucking cool, 90% of the time. When we're not cool, we're really not cool.

We all jave different reactions to life kessons abd its abuses. But they all WANT to connect with others. All of them. It's odd but gives me hope for the human race. As long as we feel the need to connect and not just listen to our sexist racist grandma's saying they want to go back to the 1950s when spousal abuse was legal and women couldn't have a bank account or even a mortgage without a male cosignature: we'll be fine.

Yes, I like to hike, and explore old places and trail's I go off of the most traveled places just to see things that have been untouched for year's...but in the back of my mind ,I always have a fear of finding the unthinkable... I hope and pray that I never do find a body. That being said, I have found a human thumb in the ditch where there was a big firey head on collision and the one guy had been alive but he was pined under the hood of his rolled over car, his buddy tried to help him out but he was too drunk to think ,so as he ran for help he heard the car explosion 😪 the teenagers were having a game of chicken in vehicle's, it was a small town thing, there was a grid road that circled the town, they would both start facing the opposite direction, and the other vehicle was a pickup, this was back when I was 12 or so about,43 years ago. These guys were all drinking, and it was a weekend. They both took off from the same spot, and as they came back around each one of them thought for sure the other was going to swerve , well none did. The pickup driver was decapitated when the impact sent his box through the cab, and his passenger was killed too. So the only one survived had to witness his buddy burn to death, I didn't know them, my brother in-law who grew up in that town did,and weeks after the accident we drove by the scene, the grass was still all burnt so we had a good idea where the car had been. So we walked down to see it up close ,and I actually found a thumb😪 it was charcoal black . Just thinking about it now,I realize that all his buddy would of had to do was pull on his arm really hard to dislodged his thumb and he would have been saved. 😪😪😪 I hope I didn't blabber to much.

@@Uugly1 I wasn't working with him directly that day (we worked in different depts., but there were only like 30 people in the whole building, so it's a small place), but he came into work, and had his manager drive him to the police Dept that morning to report her missing. It's like a 35 min drive from work. When he got arrested and the cops told the manager what they knew, he was so pissed that Mike involved him in that. I do know that he was shaken up to the point that he didn't want to drive himself in to report her missing, but like I say, I didn't talk to him that morning. The shop started an hour earlier than us, and I hadn't been there long when the manager and Mike left.

My uncle accidentally shot his 14 year old son in the neck cleaning his gun. He called 911, and my cousin died in the hospital a week later. My uncle was charged with reckless homicide, as he failed to check the gun was empty before cleaning it. My uncle hasn’t been the same since (not that I blame him), but what happened was an accident. He did everything right after his mistake, worked with the police, and started a fund at the hospital my cousin died at, that helps victims of hunting accidents and gun crimes with their hospital bills. They do a yearly motorcycle fundraiser for this fund. There is making a horrible mistake and being honest about it, and then there is committing a crime and claiming it’s an accident and losing about it.

@@soundingtheskies so after everything was said and done, he was sentenced to 10 years of probation and 500 hours of community service. It was an accident, and he has tremendous guilt from it. He still organizes a yearly motorcycle ride that raises money for the hospital my cousin died at. My other cousin (my cousins little sister) has been raised with extreme care, as they live in a pro-gun area of the US, and my uncle never wants her to deal with something like this. He still wants to hunt, the whole family still does (they rely on it for meat over the winter to save money at the store and eat a lot of venison), but he is unable to own or posses a firearm while on probation and this stipulation when he gets off probation (2026)

Not to be a prick, and I'm sure as Hell NOT trying to excuse his actions, but you and this Jessica woman don't seem to understand that EVERYONE processes their emotions towards the death of a spouse or family member differently. Most people would be visibly upset, but there are some people who don't show any reaction. Most of the time, it isn't anything serious. But during a criminal investigation, this "non-emotional" reaction could potentially expose an innocent person to false accusations. This case here is a perfect example of someone who showed no reaction to a murder and became a suspect when there could've been a chance that he was innocent. Thankfully, that's nothing to worry about with this case. The bastard got into an arguement and it seems like he killed her in retaliation before going a step further by mutilating the body. Despite that, this is still a fucked-up situation that never should've happened to begin with.

@Mr. Graves I had a somewhat similar experience. When I was 11 back in 2016, my grandmother died in July of that year. She ended up having four heart attacks in a row and was revived during each of those times...then a severe heart attack, which was the fifth one, delivered the killing blow and ended her life. My mom was EXTREMELY upset during the wake and the funeral-but at the exact same time, my reaction wasn't visible. Instead, my reaction was a mental one-because internally, I was actually upset about it.
