It is odd...I had a friend who was a sex offender...When he first got out...I tried to still be his friend...It was not a clear-cut case...and There was no real proof...but I could not maintain a friendship...just knowing it is possible he did what they say...by law...he was required to tell women he was dating...by the 2nd date...he must tell her...He told one chick who was okay with it...I just don't understand how she could look past it...maybe he told her a good story...I don't know.

@DeesBees76 didn't say that. Simply said you cannot judge someone based on YOUR own feelings. And you absolutely cannot say how you'd react to anything until you've been in the situation. I was nearly killed and everyone has an opinion on what they "would have done".....its laughable. I'm alive today, so I know I did what was best in the situation. Don't judge things you know nothing about. Thar said, how YOU handle something isn't the way everyone else would. You aren't the standard of measure for everyone. Remember that

Unfortunately it’s not quite true. I was once accused of a crime I did not commit but there was an inordinate amount of circumstantial evidence to connect me with it. However there were about 5 things that proved it wasn’t me. Police were only interested in the things that connected me with the crime. I refused to cooperate. I asked them aren’t you going to ask me why I am innocent? It was pointed out to me that this is not how the system works. The important thing was to get a conviction ... it matters little whether you’re innocent or guilty. I complained about this to the media and the Public Prosecutors but no one was interested.

There was a moment in the interview where I realized what a landmine it is to talk to detectives in these situations. She says she stayed the night at the guy's house and then offhandedly says, "I mean I went to go get something to eat back in town but then I came back." Imagine you were being interviewed by detectives and told them you went somewhere and stayed there but forgot you left for something briefly. Later they find out you had left but you hadn't mentioned it so now you look suspicious all because you didn't remember your evening to the minute.

@@pennyproud1621 Yeah, we all remember things that stand out for one reason or another, like a car accident , first kiss, being betrayed, traumatic things, or nights where everything that could go wrong did but you somehow lived and didn't get in trouble. I used those because it's the first long term things I thought of. I can't tell you about a boring weekend 10 years ago. Even if you had something that would trigger me to recall, It would all run together and be hazy. This is where our brains kinda fvck us. We have glimpses of moments here and there and your brain kinda fills in the rest, especially if someone is telling you something like "you were there for sure! I remember seeing you drunk and hanging out with the president!" Or whatever lol. Memories are very easy to manipulate and it's dangerous telling someone they should remember because of blank ... Ikr. I do not understand it at all. The biggest turn off on earth has to be knowing someone is a serial sex offender. Even if you date them and don't know what they are, the instant you find out, dump them. I had a friend who dated a sex offender but I didn't know he was one at first. But I came to realise what he was and I could not hear a word about him without telling her she was insane. We fell out over it. He repeatedly exposed himself to young girls and he got caught and told my friend that he just wanted to take a leak and they saw him do it. And she believed him. Seriously. This was an intelligent woman too. I just looked at her when she told me and said 'omg you don't believe him do you?' and she claimed she did. 'What every time he happened to get his dick out to 'urgently pee' and had to go in the street or the park there just happened to be young girls around?' and my friend said nothing but she would not acknowledge the stupidity of his excuse. And that's the stuff she told me about. He did worse than that. Anyway we fell out over it and I was shocked and appalled that she would date such a low life lying sex offender scum bag.

Him driving “walking speed” tells me he was on the prowl when he spotted Brittanee. I wonder how many other times Angel had played decoy so he could have a girl to “party” with. Maybe they would offer a girl a ride or maybe one or so went to smoke weed with them and felt safe because a woman was there, but I seriously doubt Brittanee was the first girl they picked up. It would be something a lot of young women wouldn’t report because they’d gone voluntarily.

Yes she’s part of it all bcuz she was there. She KNEW she left her with him THAT NIGHT. So after hearing she was found dead, even if Raymond never told Angel about it, she STILL KNEW BCUZ SHE KNEW HE WAS THE LAST PERSON WITH BRIT. She couldn’t even tell the cops the truth about her being with them that night so she was protecting him and for that Brits family wasn’t able to get closure until much later. The ONLY time its ok to withhold information or even a suspicion from the cops regarding a murder is when you feel your life would be in jeopardy. In this situation that was not the case. Due to her silence Raymond got away with rape and murder longer than he should have.

What is truly disgusting is to hear "an extensive sex offender criminal history". Why that old fart was free to walk streets is the real question. Not discussing how selfish he is. She knowingly left her sex offender boyfriend with some girl to “go visit her son”?? She facilitated the crime, complicity or not. She knew what would happen. She was in the car so that young women approached by a car going at walking speed down the boulevard would voluntarily get in the car. Even if they were not themselves outlooking for customers. @@jonstewart6860 Yeah I get that. She thought she could convince the police she wasn't a suspect. That is also her problem, as literally nothing she could have said would have made the police not suspect her. Even if she had the most plausible explanation in the universe for her admission, that wouldn't have convinced the police that she was not a suspect. This is the great misunderstanding that leads to criminals thinking they can convince the police, which usually just gives the police more confirmation of the suspect's guilt, not less.
