Intriguing! Looks like a fun little game. Like the name of it too, I'm a sucker for alliteration.

I'm also not not partial to alliteration. (The name's also a deliberate play on McKeever's Small Ball.) The game obviously won't be for everyone - even I have to be in the right kind of mood for a game like it, and like Small Ball, it's really designed to be a 2-player game, not a 1-player - but I'm happy that sitting here with about 10 or 15 and a half unfinished hockey games after almost four years of working on them on and off (, and yes, the "half" is totally possible because a few of them are hybrid patchworks of a few unfinished games) I finally got one out relatively 100% complete and in almost no time at all; even though I started off the first video for this game by saying "six days ago" truth be told it was only about half that long as it occurred to me after uploading it that I didn't watch the Small Ball video until a few days after it uploaded. I've already begun building upon this simple core with ideas of adding complexity (and dice, more dice) in hopes of maybe kind of (reverse?) engineering my way back to some of my several unfinished games and helping them out. But it was very nice to start with such a simple one (as many designers of games of various genres have told me on various podcasts I've listened to on the subject), and I'd like to think that nearly four years of trial and error, frustration, failure, hindering perfectionism...the gamut, didn't hurt and may have even helped a little with this one, however indirectly.
