Something I did mention briefly but wanted to hone in more: I do not vibe with how Shen was a part of the "kung fu masters" - He wasn't one? He wanted Kung Fu to die in fact. MAYBE it was The Chameleon being misinformed/dumb lol but i doubt it. Shen isn't a Master nor is he any good at kung fu and was in fact AFRAID of if because of the fortune teller's premonition. He literally made a HUGE WEAPON - it was the whole thing haha. anyways - anything else you catch that maybe should've been rewritten?

He did fight well lol In my opinion (regarding the chameleon’s motive I want to mention), by kung fu masters I would like to say that she meant other kung fu masters around her region. Like if her region of masters acted differently towards her or more strict on what kind of masters they ought to be. Because it can be a different culture despite being near? Because not all kung fu masters would be like Shifu or Oogway and be accepting. This is just my take though, or how I would like to think of it as. If anyone thinks differently, that’s okay. I just wanted to say what I thought of it.

I honestly love the 3rd better. The message about spirituality and finding yourself, while not perfect, is at least a message that's there. Kai's villain motive at least makes sense, and at least Po isn't being forced to retire in the middle of his prime. I love the action and comedy of the 4th, but it's just not Kung Fu Panda without deep, meaningful messages and themes. That's why the first two work, they balance it all perfectly.

Change into someone better, even though it’s hard to or if not wanted at first. Change like as the chameleon literally. The change of Po’s position, change of the fox(forgot her name) into someone better. The change that the furious five aren’t there and in a new setting with new characters. Even if it is hard or if not wanted at first, they change. That’s how I saw the theme at least.

I like how when Po tried convince the Chameleon to change for the better, She chooses Shen’s form to reject his offer. Similar to how the real Shen rejected Po in the second film.

I dont like how poorly written the Cameleon is, not being able to do Kung Fu because she's weak & small, while having Mantis in the Furious 5 just doesnt work, also not having the Furious 5 in the movie was disappointing, but I enjoyed it overall

It does work... It literally prove that Cameleon chose the wrong path because she could've learn Kung Fu is she actually persisted just like Mantis. But she instantly gave up on learning just because she was told no and resorted to stealing. Keep in mind that not every teacher think the same way. The teachers she went to might've believed that she too small but that doesn't mean she is. She just didn't find the right teacher.

I think the 1st and 2nd films were SO well done and set a HUGE standard, with all the sentimental feels. It's truly hard to be on par with them. I do like the 3rd film, the messages made me cry, and Kai was scary to me with the music and hunting all the masters. The 4th film has fantastic qualities and strong teachings once again. Tbh I can consume any Kung Fu Panda film or series still adoring/ treasuring the gorgeous world and characters. ❤ It is evident how much you truly LOVE these films too.

One detail I liked in this movie was the Chameleon headdress was like a Zhou Dynasty bronze. Being the second oldest dynasty (Xia doesn't count), it alludes to that character's cruel aspect to the film as this dynasty is where many were buried with their horses and even concubines and other servants (all killed for their sovereign).

The fourth film for me is my least favourite film of the Kung Fu Panda franchise. I personally felt Po & Shifu losing inner peace in some moments was weird (and Shifu getting irritable like the first film), I was disappointed with the Furious Five's absence & sudden appearance at the end without any dialogue, Tai Lung, Lord Shen & Kai felt really wasted - only Tai Lung had dialogue plus his redemption was too rushed for me, Li was again a scaredy cat from the third film (I can understand the third film as he was traumatised by his past losses) while Mr Ping didn't seem as courageous as the third film, the concept of Chi & Po's teaching from the third film was forgotten, and while I liked the Chameleon's voice & design, she was the weakest villain for me - too small?? as her backstory plus she had no big connection with the main characters apart from Zhen, whereas Kai had a more believable origin being betrayed by Oogway. But that being said, I do respect your opinions & I actually agree with you that a combination of this film's plot & the third films plot would have made a better third film (although I personally think the third film was pretty good anyway and a good conclusion to that trilogy in my opinion - just lacked the serious tone of the first two films). And while I didn't enjoy the fourth film as much as the other three, I did love the action sequences of the film, the return of the more serious tone from the first two films and the scenes with Po & Zhen (though I also felt there could have been more development for their friendship) which made it barely enjoyable for me - though I'm not sure I'd rewatch the fourth film. Not to mention your "unpopular" feelings about the third & fourth films are actually how I felt in an opposite sense about the third & fourth Shrek films - both of them in my opinion were very weak compared to the first two Shrek films & both Puss in Boots films, but I did feel the third Shrek film tried something different and concluded Shrek's story a bit more while the fourth film felt like a ripoff of the first two films with a recycled villain from the third film and is my least favourite of the Shrek franchise (whereas most people consider the third film as the worst film from the Shrek franchise).

The 2nd movie didn't let Po fully know who he is. I think you missed that his true power was mastering chi as he's a Panda. That is what the 3rd movie covered. Whether there was comedy or whatever in the movie, he wasn't truly the Dragon Warrior until he mastered it.

Kung Fu Panda 3 was supposed to be as deep and dark as the first two (Tigress and Po were supposed to get together), but the studio forced it to be more comedic "like the first film"; hell, that was the work mindset for this film. 3. Tbh I never saw the end of this because my nephew just wanted to get out of there. We were both Kung Fu panda fans and we just found it boring, although I maybe enjoyed it more than him. I liked that Po has to be the responsible one in this and the action scenes were top notch, even if they didn't get to the same emotional highs and lows as the first two. But I didn't really get how the villain is supposed to be scary and menacing. And it felt way longer than it actually was because scenes just stayed on way too long and they were just trying to squeeze in a ton of jokes when it should just get going. And the jokes themselves felt so forced and sounded like they were just rushing through them. Worst of all is that now my nephew doesn't want to watch Kung Fu Panda anymore 😢

I don't think the third one could be replaced with this one because I feel like all the end-goals of each movie lineup properly (well the first three) (my logic probably sounds weird in text): 1) Starts with nothing -> To become the Dragon Warrior 2) Starts as Dragon Warrior -> To become like Shifu (inner peace) 3) Starts as master/training others -> To become like Oogway/master teaching (chi here does seem unnecessary for sure) 4) Starts as Oogway -> To finally choose the next Dragon Warrior I guess? This one for me is the unnecessary one because the franchise already seemed over when the whole village learned chi in the third one and there's no-one above Oogway for Po to take their place, and because they also never implied in the first three that the Dragon Warrior prophecy included "retiring" early. All of that along with the 8-year gap in between, the lack of the Furious Five and the introduction of a completely new buddy made this my least favorite.

They're planning a fifth and sixth film. Their plans were always to make this a six movie saga. I'm really glad you enjoyed this film because it's been getting a bad rep. I loved Zhen and Awkwafina and the Chameleon was good dark reflection of Po. Iand despite the five only being in the credits, it shows how much they respect Po as they are just ok with Po's choice for Zhen to be his successor no questions asked. I think there's a lot of potential for Po and Zhen's story. Like make the fifth one be about prejudice and fear. Because Zhen's a fox, people mistrust her because of stereotypes about foxes. This leads her to fear of letting Po down and vise versa where Po fears leading Zhen down the same path of Tai Lung. The villain can also be a spider or scorpion who can produce fear toxins and like Zhen was outcastes because of stereotypes. But unlike Zhen, who by the end learns not to let what people think of her defy her who she is, they did. They can also bring in callbacks to the past films to show how much Po has learned from all his teachers like having him teach Zhen about inner peace so she can let go of her fear and teaching her how to be her and not him.

This movie massively disappointed me, I expected far better based on the qualities of the previous movies, the Chameleon is the worst villain in the KFP franchise, her concept and skills were cool and Viola Davis is a great actress, but her motivations were utter god damn crap, she said that she was rejected by every Kung Fu dojo, because she was too small, despite the fact that Viper, Shifu, Mantis and even a godamn chicken can become a fighter, so her motivations do not make sense, also her screen presence is not as well done as Shen or Tai Lung, speaking of them, The movie straight up is false advertisement , remember how Tai Lung was hyped up, yeah he is only there for 5 minutes and has a couple of lines, meanwhile Shen and Kai were actual NPCs, and Shen bowing never made sense, the guy slaughtered almost all of the entire Panda Village and wasn't Kai completely obliterated in the last movie and that was in the spirit world, so how is he back? .

To me, I believe this movie was way too quick in the storyline to be after the third film. The first is about believing in yourself and that anyone can do anything, the second is a deep and introspective look at trauma that roots itself in an entire people to then grow from it, and the third is about the connection between one's high self (1) and everyone around them (2), bringing them together. For me, this passing of the torch is strange because Po literally just got the staff. The furious five are off doing important missions still, why is HE too old now all of the sudden? My opinion is that we should have gotten an episodic adventure tv series following all of the characters we've seen, and THEN going into this movie. Either way, this is still one of my favorite movie franchises of all time! I think that following KFP2 with quite literally anything is an absolute death wish because that movie is a true cinematic masterpiece that, dare I say Dreamworks' magnum opus. (IMO lolol :))

You need to react to Real City Heroes: Sergeant Cooper. Although they say it's for kids, it not it more like 10 year old, since of the ridiculous dramatic action. When you watched part 1 you should watch part 2 because it like it starts where you left off, you'll have to see what I'm saying so I don't spoil anything. Dramatic action like a train driving off the tracks and being chased by the police. There are intense police chases in every part up to 5. In part 2, I was like, Oh My Goodness, What Did They Just Do That Cop. This similar to cars 2, but best of all there is no killing! My Little Pony The Movie: This is the one of the strange movies I've ever watched. The Moon Rises/A Lullaby For a Princess: Songs Note: Real City Heroes also has other videos, like firetruck and even garbage truck!

What I have enjoyed watching these movies is watching Ange grow with each commentary. We love that for you and for us as viewers. :)

The animation is great. I'm very happy they didn’t use that new style used with the 2nd Puss N Boots movie and Spider-Man. I hate that style. This movie though, it definitely has it's moments but, to me, i don't really like the chameleon character and the fox is just flat out annoying throughout the whole thing. I also didn’t lie Tai Lung bowing at the end. True, really good bad guys (which he was), don't need redemption stories. Let bad be bad.

Oh no, I already know she's going to he so upset. I love the franchise just as dearly as her, and I'm calling it now- us true fans don't settle for this mindlessly and horribly written movie. The second I saw the "animation style" - and millennial humor, I knew it'd be bad. Kung Fu Panda 2 is my absolute favorite movie in all of the trilogy. I've watched it so many times- listen to their incredible score almost every day. The visuals weren't ``over exagerated``, it was the perfect balance between amazing graphics, and REALISTIC lighting. Now let's get to Po, the way he acted felt so much more realistic. At times he was silly, but when the serious times came- he was SERIOUS! It seems like in the 3rd film- and now the 4th, they try to make him ``silly and goofy `` all the time. Po in the 1st and 2nd film had such a lovable personality, he had so much EMOTION, his facial expressions weren't over the top either. And I feel as if the characters actually had ``mass`` - like they were actually there. Also like, can we treat the villians seriously like we did in the first two films? They treated Kai like he was a joke- he had a lot of potential to be an INCREDIBLE villian! Especially with his theme song. The lighting, backrounds, ESPECIALLY THE STORY, and the overall design of the movie was a perfect balance of everything. In a way, ( Hopefully this makes sense ) - when I watched Po in the first two movies, I heard PO. I didn't hear Jack Black. But now, all I hear is Jack Black TRYING to be Po. It's just not the same anymore. And Lord Shen, the darker tone to the film made it just THAT good. He had such a personal relation to Po- which made him all the more terrifying. I could go on for ages about how beautiful this movie is, but I've written plenty.
