Humility and humble are two different words... Just like your younger, I'm older, get on the top bunk... both men were capable of getting up there... it was just easier for one to do it consistently Time has given one wisdom to explain something and possibly patient. Simply listening would have shown you that he said humility and not humble

If I may offer the explanation from my 36 years of life from the sticks to Iraq and Afghanistan. The reason we are quiet and respectful to as many as we can be. There has been enough violence, malice and pure hatred towards others that it’s understood that respect will go 1 million fold in the positive. Add humility a being a humble man, guarantee it will turn out as it’s hoped to turn out. Now yall stay safe now. Also if anyone can pass on a helpful bit. I can not for the life of me get my watermelon to keep. Nor my cilantro. I am getting good at growing other food. Just those two are problems.

Does that mean that those that are calm are therefore confident and skilled? Definitely not. Correlation ≠ causation, just as heads up 👍

If you had to enforce VIOLENCE or even the acts of MURDER amongst your very own kind. The kind that you're supposed to love and care for as a brother and sister upon this very earth. You have no power. It's almost like how a bully tries to persuade the victim towards their way. Whether it's towards the acts of manipulation, violence, or choice. Inflicting murder upon someone who may be arrogant but does not have the right to fix such arrogance due to the acts that they're ignorant is just wrong. Not power, just a lie you made within your mind to hide the fact that you're actually a murderer. Stay out of jail 🙏

Been there and was given nothing but respect once the old head and I sat down and had a grown man conversation and he taught me a lot . He left and gave me the keys to hold our race down until I got out but because it was a lot of immature guys he didn’t want to leave with no structure in place so the remaining time he had left he mentored me into becoming a respectable man. Just because I made a bad decision didn’t mean I was a bad person nor doomed for life because of that. My time locked up was what it was meant for and that’s rehabilitation and reform.

Gmulah, it's called being brainwashed. He likely joined Islam foe protection and instead of admitting to himself he is a coward and weak, he convinced himself that his imam is humble and wise and thats why he joined. Unable to admit the truth of his actions to himself. He convinced himself his actions are wise beyond his own understanding. That way he doesn't have to confront reality.

There are two different things here. One, he is a Mujahedeen. A guerrilla fighter. Then he is an Imam. A man with a degree in theology appointed by authorities to work in a mosque. And a Mujahedeen can be an Imam apparently. Even more so in prison I guess.
