You're my hero, Steve. I'm drowning in just Spanish alone. lol btw, in Polish, when there's the Ł or ł, the L with a slash across the top, simply pronounce it as the English W. Hope you have a great time out there, Steve : )

Thank you for sharing these videos with us. I'm slowly learning Russian and for a while i found it frustrating. Them i found your videos and started focusing more on the journey and just putting in the time and enjoying it without worrying about how quickly I'm progressing. I'm really enjoying learning and i think I'm moving along faster now!

Thank you Steve👏👏👏 @Thelinguist Thanks to you I stopped make a pressure for myself, and I think about my English skills much better. I enjoy this process, and I use that same pattern like for my first language Polish. I read a lot, and expose myself to listening and speaking. You don't afraid to speak in Polish and it's just wonderful👍

Hi, I so inspired by your video, thank you very much. I have moved to Poland from Belarus, and I've got a pleasure that my Polish a bit better than you 😀😀😀. But really, your English is more better than my. And I gratitude for your work for us and for your brave

you've got much easier job, learning Polish being able to speak Russian and possibly Belarussian. There are a lot of concepts that are transferable between the languages, such as genders of nouns are mostly the same across all slavic languages. Lot of your Polish language intuition is already there, while Steve's native language is far removed from typical Slavic language concepts. In fact I'd say up until now Steve has been trying to convince himself that his Polish is better than it actually is. From what I've heard, he'd barely pass the A2 level.

Yes. The language must be used . If you want to speak - you must make a lot of mistakes and repeat each phrase more and more to make them automatic. Speaking with mistakes and slowly is better, than speaking perfectly ( by using some artificial phrases). When you create a sentence, using your words, and making mistake - it gives you better result, than when you use "Ready-made" phrases , which often are dead , have no emotions and you sound like a clown or a robot. Langage is the way your COnsciousness express yourself. Don't make it dead
