A LEVEL HISTORY - HOW TO GET AN A* - DETAILED A*/A TIPS AND TECHNIQUES TO GETTING FULL MARKS

1) Judegmemt 2) always refer back to the question at the end of your paragraphs 3) use as much evidence as possible When revising topics, prepare arguments/make bullet point essay plans with prepared counter-arguments and other stuff you need for sustained judgements and high marks. 4) Outline debates in introductions 5) Answer the question and keep referring to the wording of the question. Be mindful of the wording of the question and its focus.. 6) Pay attention to the TIME PERIOD of the question otherwise it will be irrelevant and you'll waste marks and time and your revision. 7) In the conclusion, explain your overall opinion and HOW you reached that judgement. Sources 1) evaluating your sources is really important: nature, origin, audience and purpose. 2) quoting historians' wherever possible(?) Essays 1) discuss the question within the wider historical context/think about the bigger picture

I got an E in my history mock despite knowing most of the content so I'm gonna watch these to see if it can help me up my grades. I really need 3 A's at least in my A levels so I'm gonna have to work hard to achieve it.

I wish I had gone to school. I did less than 2 years in primary school- and not well attended. I did no secondary school. My parents took me out because of bad behaviour. I'm trying to catch up now by self education but I fear I never will catch up. Pity. Good video. Liked and subbed.

This might be a stupid question but when people say study in your frees/ at home etc, what did you do in that study time? Does it include like making flashcards, writing down notes etc?
