With the Object 292 now here, it makes me wonder of any of the other modern MBTs with a main gun caliber greater than 120mm will come to the game. Like the Leopard 2 or Leclerc armed with 140mm guns, as an example.

Let me explain the difference between those and the 292. The 292 is literally JUST that gun, on a rather mediocre platform. Those other vehicles not only have better rounds, but have tons of other features that the 292 doesn't have. So while we might see those vehicles in the future, they cannot be compared to the 292 on firepower alone

First game I saw one, the CC with it said "it's not very good" then proceeded to get 11 kills and a nuke. The handicaps of this vehicle seems like it forces you to play more patient and that really works wonders when you can punch through every turret you see.

Gaijin should introduce reload penalty to manually reloaded tanks, there is no way a loader loads a round in 5 seconds at 50km/h or when breaking from 30 to 0 i don’t think a loader can do it in real life but happy to be proven wrong 😂

It’s the chassis of t-80bv obr. 1985 - it had the same hull array as t-80u with the t-80b turret with Kontakt-1 slapped all over it (obviously 292 had the k-1 removed)

Waiting to see a CC uptier this thing into the 11.3 or 11.7 lineups. With a dart that powerful, you can penetrate the gunner's side turret cheek of the M1A2, along with the beak of the Leopard 2A7V's hull armor. I expect it to be pretty powerful on super long range maps, as it's APFSDS velocity is far faster than anyone else's. Also worth mentioning that the engine currently in the 292 is incorrect. It is supposed to share the same engine as T-80U. Gaijin has already acknowledged this, but it looks like they might just completely ignore this in order to not move the tank up from 10.0.

Then all TAM 2s (IP and C) with 4k thermal and 6 sec manual reload with 430mm pen should go to 11.0 as the TCM AGS with 392mm is 11.0 thanks. This tank only has good pen and speed. That’s it, everything only this level can pen it easily 😂 You can’t expect people to perform well when the average WT player has 1 kill or less per game, which is more than 50% of the playerbase 😂 When i check my replays, people bringing in like heatfs, hesh, APDS, HE as main rounds when they have 400mm APFSDS and fully loaded like a WoT player then there is nothing to talk about. Or when asking after 6 years of gameplay why the ZSU57-2 doesn’t pen tanks with HE 😂 Look at the french tech tree, people with skill playing and tanks that shouldn’t be over 6.3-6.7 are in 8.0 because top 1 has 5-10 K/D with it 😂 the rest has close to 1-2 And gaijin mainly takes into consideration the stat not the tank capabilities and it’s pen. HSTVL is 11.0 with bit more pen than a 2S38 for the same reason, ppl with skills are really good (top 1%) the rest is mehh, we saw that this tank outperforms everything else, move it up. But why exactly? Bugged armor and players are really who gets the fond of and has a knack for it and more than 50% of the playerbase is only in the game for SL/RP

I honestly don't see the issue with this being 10.0. Compared to the Turms-T, it has a better shell and better mobility... But it also has no thermals, a longer reload, no MG, and no smoke. It really feels more like a side-grade than an upgrade. At 10.3 it would have to compete with the Leo 2A4, and I just don't think this thing is equal to that.

You’d be able to do much better with just a normal T-80. The only thing this tank can do better is shoot a lolpen shell. The reload is going to fuck it over and over again and the extra weak spot on the back of the turret, plus the lower ammo seeming like it’s a bigger target is gonna get it killed probably first shot every shot.

12:59 there two different Leopard 2s with 140mm guns. One was made by Germany in the 90s and the other was made by Switzerland rather recently. Also, DM73 is only for 120mm at the moment (L/55A1 gun to be exact).

DM63 is not in game since it only offers a slight performance increase and stability over a wider temperature range. Apparently DM53/53A1 and 63 are supposed to have an anti-era tip The Leopard you mentioned is the Leopard 2-140, the Swiss also made an 140mm Leopard variant called Panzer 87-140 (Panzer 87 is the Swiss naming of the Leopard 2). DM73 is also actually a round for 120mm guns and it's supposed to have a pen increase over DM63 with pressures allowing it only to be fired from the Leopard 2A7V and L/55A1 gun's, Leo 2A7V isn't even supposed to have nor fire DM53 since that round was phased out in the early 2000's and it was replaced by DM63 and DM53A1 (iirc) And I also love the gun sound, makes me want Gaijin to rework the current 120mm gun sounds to make them sounds beefier like they are irl

my issue with russia is the fact you can take a 10.0 lineup into 11.7 and preform really well every game. object 292, 2s38, 2s25m, khrizantema, ka50, bmp2m, strela, are all ~10.00 vehicles that can preform exceptionally well at 11.7 which is nuts.

Regarding the sounds, it is a way of psychology, WT is experts doing this mind trick thins. Trixing with the sounds makes the brain think something is new/changed, even though it is the same game. Been playing since 2013 and they have been doing this for years. Apparently it works.

The dart cannot actually go thru the 122 UFP.. 122s UFP is ~735mm while the dart is only 695mm. Theres still quite a distance before it actually pens the UFP

Now they will have to add the m1 thumper or the cattb. But i doubt they will. M1 thumper would probably be the most viable one they would add. It had a 140mm gun with some pretty insane penetration compared to the m256. The 140mm had twice the muzzle energy and twice the chamber pressure of a m829. It was overkill for the time. But its the gun the army is looking at right now for the competition vehicles that are looking to replace the abrams.

"Fastest projectile" That really depends on if you classify AAMs as projectiles. If you don't then yes it is the fastest, if not then no, it's nowhere close
