The main thing that bothers me about this... Well, I'd prefer it if he ended up having to take care of his friends' child, after they die in a car crash or something. Because if you're grey like this, that's surely a serious impediment to finding a partner, let alone one who wants to start a family with you. How, I wonder, did he win her heart? I wanna see those scenes. And does she, i.e. his partner, not colour him at all?? But I do buy that having a child can have this kind of revolutionary affect on you, and is what many people need.
