I'm sorry F251 isn't on here, I have never been near enough to take any photos.
All photos taken at Open Days or through the window whilst being supervised. Only 2 photos of Rx207 I'm afraid!
Members receive updates of work completed in regular newsletters and one free ride a year on SteamRanger-so membership at SteamRanger is beneficial all round!
520 is featured also.
520 'Sir Malcolm Barclay-Harvey' Also known as 'Shane' in Thomas the Tank Engine!
There is a restoration appeal by SteamRanger to help get 520 back in to service.

The amount of money required to bring back 520 to steam is so prohibitive it is doubtful that it will be done within the next 10---12 years

When was the photo of 207 taken? Will it still be running for RailFest?!?!

Inside the cab photograph was 2015 & 2016 & the locomotive at Fidlers Lane was taken 2021. I'm not sure what will be running for RailFest I'm sorry. In their December 2023 newsletter it says Rx207 is operational.

@@maxhighet4447 If you join to be a member of SteamRanger they send you out a newsletter and in that they usually put updates of the work they have done etc. If you join to be a member you also get a free ticket for 1 return ride ride on their services.

In SteamRangers December 2023 newsletter it states that they continue to make progress on 520's boiler. Work has been done on tubeplate testing, the smokebox, the firebox inner corners, boiler barrel and Oil Burner Holes. They have taken delivery of 520's new Blast Pipe. The volunteers are working very hard at completing the work and trying to railse funds. Members receive regular updates and one free ride a year on SteamRanger so it is beneficial all round to join!
