A Little Time Out with Tater Tot!

While needing a much deserved break from renovating the cabin, my beloved daughter, aka "Tater Tot", flies in from the West of Canada to see me for the first time in the East. We go whale watching and kayaking in Saint Andrews by the Sea in Southern New Brunswick.

I used a GoPro Hero 10 right out of the box, plus a Sony FDR AX53, while Tater Tot was using an Osmo Action Camera and an iPhone 13.

Awwww....lil' Tator Tot is beautiful and it was fun to see this side of you. A funny thing about dulce. After your last video where you mentioned dulce I decided to order some from Amazon. I'm from NS and grew up eating it but my husband had never heard of it. $15 later he took a small bite and declared it tasted like "salty paper." LOL Our standard poodle absolutely loves it though.

Okay so this was fortuitous as I am parked at St Croix Park having just entered New Brunswick Canada from Maine. Was going to go down to St Andrews Minister island so will check the tides. Also need to stock up and will definitely get some dolce as this Hawaiian girl loves me some seaweed! Loving the fact can find me free boondocking places as gas takes most of my monies!

Been watching and enjoying your videos for years, but this may be one of your best ! Actually heading to N.B. and P.E.I. start of next week in our 2011 Subaru Outback 6 cylinder, 3.6L. motor with 214,000 kms.. We are towing our recently purchased 2017 Jayco Tent trailer (our 3rd.) along with our 1 yr. old dog, Mocha. Will be touring around so possibly we may run into you at the local markets, would be nice to meet you in person and say Hi. Keep those videos coming, always entertaining.

Campfire roasted corn is one of my favorite foods. Just a tip - I like to soak my corn on the husk in water for an hour or so before putting it on the fire. It helps by steaming it and keeping it fresher looking rather than drying it out and making it more chewy or rubbery. Tip 2 - After being cooked, if you cut off about 1 inch of the stalk end of the ear, then you can hold (with gloves because it is hot) the ear by the silk end and just squeeze the ear out. If removes all the silk fibers with the husk. Nice to see Tater Tot.

From South Africa we do a fair bit of wale watching off our coastlines also have a place called waterfall bluff, where, during the sardine run, dolphins, sharks and killer whales work together to ball the sardines and harvest them.... only place in the world....
