okay, it´s not a revolution, but there are lots of cards that don´t work solo, and he found a sollution for everyone up to the Mists of Zanaga. Also some mechanics in the expansions...so he took the effort to write about 15 pages of exceptions and I really appreciate this :)

I really enjoyed your Runebound series yesterday and was looking forward to see Island of Dread all day long. I own the base game, but it's the first edition. Do you know if it makes sense to combine this with 2nd edition expansions, or do I have to buy the 2nd ed. base game?

I've purchased Sands of Al-Kalim, Mists of Zanaga, Island of Dread, and Frozen Wastes. They're all fantastic, but I really like Al-Kalim!

The story centered nature of it and that moving storm makes it one of my favorites too! I love watching Call play these since I just don't do well with solo systems that put a clock on RuneBound. Sure that covers the race but what about the exploration and shopping? Thanks to Call (who is like a machine, I swear....) I can still get my RuneBound fix! : )

After two playthroughs I can say it´s pretty complicated, but I think I like it. The solitaire scenarios are extremly difficult....

Thank you :-) I really like most of the expansions. They add a lot variety to the game. Right now, I´m doing my first play of Archipelago. Man, it´s pretty heavy: After 40 minutes, I´m still doing the first turn. But I think it couldbe worth the effort. Greetings

Some are extremely rare...(Midnight, early card expansions). Keep your eyes open for them if you want the full collection. I think Island of Dread, Sands of Al Kalim and Frozen Wastes are the best big box expansions. The Item and the Challenge card expansions are all great. The Adventure Card expansions are sometimes not that good, and I don´t like the character decks at all... Yes, I think they are the same size: There are these hero packs that use the same miniature for Runebound, Runewars and Descent... Normally you add a market item at the beginning of a market phase...(I might have forgotten that...) Greetings

Yay, a game I own *before* you play it! But you're still gonna cost me money... I don't have any expansions yet. So what edition of Lost Frontier; The Vesuvius Incident did you go with? I went with The Artifact with 5/8-inch blocks.

i don't own this game, but i'd like to get[it's "out of stock" most online places,n really high price on amizon] but wanted to ask if figures are same size as heroes in "descent"? also,if a market item gets "baught" shouldn't a nw 1 get added[maybe u do that]

I´m not sure...do you mean on Kickstarter? I bought the old edition and the artifact is not included there.... It looks really complicated...I haven´t tried it until now. But I will after this video series:)

My copy of Archipelago should arrive today aswell, I hope it is any good, since I read so much mixed opinions about it.

I guess in this way it´s more like an expansion...otherwise it´s more a stand-alone set. So in this way, especially people who don´t know the game might decide to buy the base game and then the expansion. But I might be wrong here. On the other hand, there are not enough market cards, to play it alone...? So, I don´t know :-D

Yes, it´s kind of cool...on the other hand, I asked myself, why they did this. I mean, why not simply replace the board. Does it really make a difference in the production costs? Do you know that, as a game designer?
