+ComicPOP! The Lord of the Locusts is not Grandma Ben's sister ("Briar"). It's like Sauron. You never actually witness The Lord of the Locusts. He's a spirit that's taken over the mother Dragon and was put to sleep. Briar is simply trying to wake him back up. Lord of the Locusts is like Sauron, Briar is like Saruman, Kingdok is under her.

I remember this one part where phoney goes to the tavern and gets a drink. To pay it off he gives Lucius a dollar. And Lucius is like thinking "he just gave me paper" and rips it up in front of him. That was one of my favorite parts in bone.

i got into bone in middle school. i was randomly looking through our book hself in my class room and found volume 3 of bone read it was hooked and went back to read the rest. funny story though in all my librarys never had the final volume so it was not till 2013 when i finally finished the story after reading the first 7 countless times.

I first read bone, when I got bored and looked for a book. My mom was a teacher and she had the book in her classroom, we moved and the book ended up in the closet. I remembered a kid reading the book from years prior, so I picked it up. The book was literally falling apart, the pages were out of order, and i spent hours re-arranging the book together, so it was in the right order. I finally read the novel, and absolutely loved it. I'd go to the book store to buy the next book when I finished the last one. 1.5 years later I finally finished the whole series, loving them all. I've read the whole series 5 times, and I absolutely love it.

They do mention the Ghost Circles in book three Eyes of the Storm and in Rock Jaw there is a whole chapter called Ghosts Circles. And in the Bone Novel there is a female bone. And the lord of the Locusts is not Roses Sister, the lord of the locusts is more of spirt who uses roses sister.

Creators don't get to finish these great stories, and readers don't get to continue to read great stories. When comic book titles get canceled there are fewer choices to read and pretty soon all we have to read is batman stories. Don't let the comic book industry die!" Keep up the good work ComicPop! You guys are awesome, this book is the reason I got into comics as a kid. Jeff Smith also has another book from a few years ago RASL and he is currently doing a book Tuki Save the Humans which comes out once every few months he also releases it for free page by page on his website, boneville dot com under the Tuki section. I have the one volume edition of Bone, and use to have the separate volumes I got as they came out (wish I kept those now), but I'm still missing the colored collection.

This is not meant as a well actually, but more of a fun fact: in this video you spoke about Boneville being very modern, setting it apart from the world around it and differing in that from the Shire of Lord of the Rings. But funnily enough, this is kind of the case for the Shire as well! The Shire is based on the English country side from Tolkiens childhood, this means that for the modern eye its indeed quite old in its customs and way of living, but in comparison to all else in Middle Earth its very modern. We see trinkets and elemebts that resemble more closely a time just before the industrial revolution, but after the middle ages, where all else in middle earth is solidly early medieval. I just thought that was fun to share, I was rewatching this video recently, I am a long time fan of the channel (well, like 3-4 years, I imagine that feels like a short time from your side) and really love what you guys do.
