I love that Dee went from “it’s one of those games I guess I never felt attracted to” to “I fucking love this game” when he got the master sword, to legit crying when he finished the game & the credits rolled. That just speaks volumes about how incredible BOTW is and the kind of effect it has on people. ❤️ I’m so, so glad I found DeeBeeGeek through a random KZbin recommendation. He’s now my favorite streamer!

Yeah it would be fun for him to go back and do Master Mode, Trial of the Sword, etc. and start seeing those connections. Though DeeBee is getting a bit of those moments playing through the other Zelda games. Like when he realized in his last Twilight Princess vid where he was when he got the Master Sword. "Oh my God, this is the Temple of Time!"

I remember I just started playing BoTW myself when I was looking for some guides on certain quests on YT, and I got recommended one of Deebee's videos instead, and clicking on it was one of the best decisions I made. It felt like playing alongside a friend who made fun banters as he explored the world of Hyrule. I looked forward to every single BoTW stream and stayed up even if I had work at 6am the next day 😂 the best part of this Zelda journey is not only have I found my comfort streamer, but also one of, if not the best and most wholesome community ever! 😭❤️ The DeeBeeGang is really something else ❤️ thank you for sharing your BoTW and all your other Zelda journey with us, Dee! ❤️ Great, now I'm crying 🥲

A year ago when youtube recommended me your first video. I was pretty sure I'll see a douche bad mouthing Nintendo and the series and whatnot. How wrong I was back then. I even wrote a similar comment witch you put a heart on it (it may not be much, but it meant something for me) by the time of your second video, I subscribed to your channel and started following your journey, relieving the awesome moments that this game provided and adding something more over it. Adding a feeling akin to sharing a fun experience with a friend and along with the community, a sense of belonging. Then came Thanksmas and the amazing gathering of the community and also the Irish cancer society stream you did. Weeks after weeks the more you delved into the series, the more fun it was catching some hints or lore from BotW. I said it before and I'll say it again, you are a good man and you have a good soul, having someone like you to lighten up the mood once in a while is truly appreciated. I wish you and Deebeegirl the best along to all the community. Keep up the good work ^^

This was the reason I subbed. Zelda has been such an important part of my life, and breath of the wild was able to so beautifully wrap everything I loved about the series together into a truly beautiful experience. Since I can’t experience the series for the first time anymore, seeing you go through everything and reacting in similar ways to it that I did has allowed me to sort of relive the times I spent as a child playing Zelda (both alone as something I did as an escape and as something I bonded with my brother over) again. I’ll always adore this series, and it makes me so happy to see other people enjoy it and get excited for it too. You and PointCrow are the ones I enjoy the most out of everyone I’ve seen try Zelda for the first time (and there are quite a few I’ve seen lol), because of how clearly invested in the stories and characters you get, and it is such a great feeling to be able to see my favorite stories make other people happy. There’s so much more for you to see about hyrule, and I can’t wait to see all of it!

You were introduced to the Nintendo world by us, and you actually introduced me to the PlayStation side (Dear God I loved FFVII R in particular). Thanks, man.
