My prediction, due to injuries taking out starters, the managers will have no choice but to play every player, thus a more uniform development of the squad.

Is the conclusion, injury proneness doesn't impact development too much, but if you have a whole squad you'll have too many injured players during games, that there is a risk you'll end up running out of substitutes and therefore your team won't perform.

I think thats possibly the takeaway from this. Interesting they did progress really well isn't it
@handemhan10 ай бұрын
Maybe it's less about ability and more about achievements. I.e. Jack Wilshere had all the ability in the world, but constant injuries meant be didn't play enough and his manager couldn't rely on him, so his career dwindled

I saw it on an experiment where I made a player play on until he was like 70 last FM... when I say that it sounds mental, but it was a fun video I seem to recall 🤣
@randomname994910 ай бұрын
The good thing about this is that you got lots of players reaching a great CA, as the good players have a higher chance of injury and the AI coaches are forced to rotate. What i have noticed is that if a player gets an injury then that injury has a high chance of coming back, so even if a player gets only minor injuries he can still have a nughtmare

I think this shows that having a few injury prone players isn't too bad but having multiple in same positions is a bad thing. Especially goalkeepers as you mentioned it probably cost you and when looking through the schedule there was a match where your created goalkeeper got replaced by regen, so the other goalkeeper was most likely injured.

Really interesting to see how surprising the results were Also just wondering, have you ever done a career sim with a keeper who’s a dead ball specialist? It might be interesting to see how many penalties and (maybe assists?) he’d rack up, if any at all

Very interesting, i didn't expect this situation, they are to fragile to show their talent. This team probably needs 11 substitutions per match to win something. What about a team with max dirtness and aggression trained by a coach with hard tackle tactics, we can see if red card are as influent as injuries were in this experiment

Sorry, Buddhist Uposatha days for the last two days, so no entertainment for me (vow #7) ... was looking forward to this video and finally watched it. The findings are surprising, yes, but yet when i think about my own squad, the findings sort-of tallied ... OK, my Milan has 1b in the bank because i am as stingy as Arsene Wenger and prefer to pick up bargains. But, well, bargains came at a ... price. They usually "doesnt like big matches", or you would realize that they are "High" or "Very High" to injury proneness, indeed. Had a rare 5* SC who had High injury proneness, and for once sold a player at his peak (he didnt do well in CL finals. "Like big matches", but 6.5-ed them. The other SC "doesn't like big matches" and get to play because 1st guy was Injuried (ha), and scored and got us a rare CL win.) The 5* guy ended up in Southampton 2053, and singlehanded won them the EPL. I was like, wait a minute, you weren't injuried? He played 50+ matches for them. Damn. Next season, Man C offered 228m POUNDS for my Very High injury proneness Winger, but I refused to sell. Sure, he would have an injury later like every season, but ... half the season gone, and he had performed well as usual. So from my experience, the odd Injury Prone fellow is definitely fine.
@jayhuahua9 ай бұрын
Thats my takeaway but 228 million? My biggest sale is 200 of alex scott on my southampton mini series last year. Never have I considered keeping someone injury prone when offers that good come in. He must have been some player
@Chengyuan799 ай бұрын
@@jayhuahua i did regret not selling him, but also is contradictary-ly happy to have kept him when he had already scored ~10 half the season gone. Do have a wonderkid rotating that LW position with him. Maybe I will sell next season at 28yo, if Man C 2055 is still keen. 😅 P.S. 200mil is still A LOT of money (and POUNDS at that). No human is worth a country's GDP, however much Sepp Blatter tried to spin it as "art".

@@jayhuahua think the ship has sailed ... but like what certain managers had said, "I am a football manager, not a bank manager". Already have ~1b in the bank. If he keeps on having those 7.8 ratings and 10 - 20 goals season, I might even extend his contract to 33yo~! Am hoarding many wonderkids and loaning them around. Either-footers are just so hard to train ... anyway, just S/L-ing the academy kids. This year, I had to choose between loading one 5* kid, or loading TWO 4.5*-ers. Guess which route I went? 😅
