This should be officially implemented in the FM as a skin option. Awesome. When I see Jonukas commenting, I have to ask if the skin also works with other languages than english?! And by that I mean german, cause I haven't seen it in the credits. @@mustermannfm

@@hawu22 so there are a couple of bits that won't work in German. Specifically the "Archetypes", as there aren't suitable existing translations for those phrases already in the game. There may be a couple of other areas, but these are places where the words are mostly there for cosmetic reasons - you don't miss anything important by it not being translated. There is also an issue with player instructions popup - your German words are too long! Fantastic work, I'm definitely an attribute less convert. On the match itself, what's the deal with feedback from the coach during the game? Some skins have it, others don't, sure someone said the main game is doing away with it anyway. Doesn't seem to pop up on yours unless I'm wrong. Cheers mate

@@alexathegreat15 the feedback appears during the game in the usual place, and then there is an archive of it in the tablet under the "Advice" tab. I have definitely noticed some games where there isn't much feedback given. And others, where the Assistant Manager won't shut up 😂

Good heavens - I'm speechless! This is amazingly creative, game-changing, and must have been an immense amount of graft to get to this. It is no less than a complete reimagining of the game - as you say, leading away from '14 vs 13 off the ball', and a more, dare I say, 'realistic' experience of life of a football manager - rough guides to 'he's fast' and then using statistics / metrics from performance to judge the reality. Can't wait to try it out!

I will say that whilst the base FM interface gets a lot of flak, it's actually quite incredible. 1) To be as adaptive as it is to so many resolutions, and 2) to keep barrier of entry to the game reasonably low, considering just how much information is in the game. If the base interface didn't exist, I wouldn't be able to do this - because this skin can only exist in a world where something more universal is available. by default.

I've been playing FM/CM since around CM2 and this is probably one of the best skins I've ever saw for the game. The flow, the details, the style is just perfect. Wow. Congrats on an unreal skin. So, so impressive. The only thing I would love is some coloured tint to the screens depending on who I manage. I love the feel of the game changing (just a little bit) when I move a club. But that's a minor point in something which is as bold and innovative as this.

Unfortunately anywhere that has text, club colours can cause problems - but I've kept it in on the Club Info/News/Vision pages and incorporated it into team sheets (well, technically it's the kit colour for team sheets) so there's little bits here and there.

I had the same thoughts as you, so I made the sidebar colours "dynamic". This has helped me massively. The sidebars change colours according to which players, staff, clubs or nation I'm currently on. I still can't figure out how to make the actual "namebars" dynamic but it'll do for now.

What a fantastic skin game-changing skin. Only issue I can imagine is when trying to evaluate your team and sign new players early season when the stats reset. As a professional graphic designer I also really appreciate your design choices.

Indeed, there are limitations with stats resetting at season end, and I heartily recommend creating a save at season end before the reset, so you're able to go back and check previous seasons. And thank you for the compliment. As a non-designer, that means a lot!

720p might still be a challenge. The minimum supported resolution here is 1360x768 at 100% zoom. 1280x720 should work at 85% zoom, though.

Disliking for complaining about my boys in Augsburg xD On a serious note this skin is insane, only thing I don't particularly like is the pseudo-attributeless nature (my issue, not yours) and even then I feel like for scouting I would prefer the generalised dots to trim my scout list at which point I would take interest in attribute values. But every other feature is just outstanding (especially love the player architypes, something small that looks great). Fantastic work.

This looks a really nice skin that I'm going to try. I'm normally a numbers attributes guy but the effort you have put into it makes me want to try it on one of my saves so thanks for sharing. Slightly off topic, you said you are looking forward to making new videos. I was wondering if you're interested and have time to make match analysis videos on what you do in matches that aren't going your way, perhaps if you adjust player roles or what data you look at in-game. Basically what ever you do and look for. I have found written guides online but I'm more of a visual person and like videos to follow. I've watched lots of FM content creators, all good but I've not seen anyone cover this subject. Unless you can suggest someone's videos I should watch as I see you like to promote in the FM community. Just thought it would be interesting to see to the usual wonderkids recruitment videos that everyone seems to do, not that you do that as you're more of a story teller which is why I think you would explain it well for fairly newbies like me that have only played since FM23. Just a thought anyway.

I LOVE that skin, Unlike "Statman" Skin I can actually use it! Context: I play on a laptop which runs FM24 on 85 percent zoom. And in this version the "Statman" is a disaster. That's a shame. Statman is a great skin, but _Ben_ does explicitly state it's designed for 1920x1080 at 85% zoom, which is sadly no consolation for those at lower resolutions. Glad I'm able to fill in that void.

I stumbled across this, downloaded and tried it, and while I love the idea of using no attributes and want to try it in its own save, I'd love if there is a version of the skin that has attributes. Great skin though. Very smooth, clean, and intuitive. One thing in particular is how easy it is to move players around while setting up tactics vs the vanilla skin!

Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate that attributeless isn't for everyone, but that is the area I am focussing my time. I have an important question to address. The percentile statistics displayed on the pizza chart are not dynamic. This means that the xG values are consistently compared to specific numbers derived from a multitude of tests that have been conducted. In light of this, it raises the question of whether these numbers were generated using FME or QME. The disparity between the two methods can be significant and may present a distorted representation of a player's pizza chart. While I haven't delved deeply into testing FM24, my experience with FM22 and FM23 revealed that leagues simulated with QME tended to have more key tackles than those using FME (without getting bogged down in specific statistics). I hope you understand what I'm trying to convey. If I were to solely simulate my league with Full Detail and let other leagues progress quickly for a faster progression into the future, the player statistics in my league might not necessarily be comparable to those of players in different leagues. Is this still the case in FM24? Currently, I export data multiple times with filters for leagues that use QME or FME, manually calculating percentiles in an Excel sheet. This ensures that my percentiles are dynamic and calculated based on their respective detail levels. However, this process is time-consuming. Considering the overall aesthetic appeal of your skin, I would love to make the switch.

The data set used for the visualisations are FME only. Prior to that I had run tests with both, and found that the disparity in the stats used for the visualisations was relatively minor, with players usually ending up within a 10% bracket of the FME. Of course, with it not being possible to run large scale tests with perfect unchangeable conditions, it is difficult to assert how how much of this was to do the different between MEs and how much of it was coincidence. Furthermore, with each patch released, this initial test has not been re-run, so the usefulness of that assessment will diminish over time.

Its like playing FPL if you like stats. Then you can watch the games in FM24 to see if the player passes the eye test. 🙂

The skin is more real life-like. You can see from watching someone like De Bruyne that he has elite passing... but you cant determine whether its 17, 18, 19 or 20/20. The game is already tediously easy having every single (scouted) players' exact attributes available to compare and this skin provides a level of ambiguity meaning that sometimes you make the wrong choice(s). Novel idea, I know.

It might take a little bit of getting used to, but (for me, at least) I've found this approach super liberating. I'm signing and playing players I may have never considered because they only had an "11" for a specific attribute, but there performances are actually really good.

Hi Mustermann, I really love the skin however a bit of feedback would be to bring the attribute ratings back. It acts as a good indicator for newer players to see ratings rather than a circle increasing in size to highlight attributes. Or if theres a way to turn them on please let me know!

Your Skin is simply amazing, it has completely changed my FM experience, thank you. I have two questions tho, firstly, there were phrases in the manage profile of the default skin such as "hands on approach, loyalty to players, media handling" etc.. As far as I understand, you changed these with more realistic statistics, but is it possible to bring them back again by editing? Secondly, what do I need to edit to show the facilities and reputation levels with stars instead of just texts? I'm sorry if my questions are too general, I think I asked very specific questions about XML, but I hope the answers may be easy. Thanks again.

As neither are things I've sought to do, I don't know the exact answers and I'm not at home to check. Your best route is to find a skin that has what you're looking for, and identify which element controls what you're asking for. For the manager it will be panels/human/human profile.xml, and I think the element is referred to as "Manager Statistics". For facilities, I've never touched this at all, but I believe WTCS has, so that might be a good place to look.

You'll want to change panels/tactics/tactics icon info panel overview.xml. Your best approach will be to find a tactic screen you like in another skin and add that to this skin

The skin is incredible and I will definitely use as soon as possible. However I think it would be nice to allow users to show attributes. Like by pressing a button that switch between non attribute to attribute values and contrary.

It's a different style, but very well put together and contains some of the additional analysis elements.

@@mustermannfm I haven't used it yet as I'll probably do when I next load up the game but have to say your UI/screenflow/workflow or whatever it's called seems a lot easier to navigate through than the default FM Skin style. If FM25 is such a big rebuild I hope they hire people like you to make it simpler to navigate and find what you need

@@mustermannfm no that's a fair enough point, I just think to a brand new player FM must be quite overwhelming and I like what you've done in terms of the overview pages and then being able to dig deeper. Only thing I'm not sure about yet is the scrolling screen on the player inf page (but that is without using it so it might be great once I do) Well done anyway I've never really done just signing players off the stats so I think you've done that really well with the pizza charts

@@bradnodes so originally scrolling came about as a solution for low-res only...and whilst testing it, I realised I actually preferred it to the normal approach. Really helped give the page a flow, and obviously we're all now very used to the approach what with mobiles and websites. Will it suit everyone? No, absolutely not. But I was surprised at how much easier it made things
