Good job on using the ability icons instead of the abbreviations like REM and EvM etc. It's so much more intuitive just seeing the symbol and instantly knowing what it is, rather than trying to translate the abbreviation to what ability it was while trying to grasp the rotation or playstyle. I'm not sure I understand why the single target rotation for chi-ji is [2x tiger palm -> blackout -> enveloping]. If you're in the faeline, you can do [1x tiger palm -> blackout -> enveloping] (1 tiger palm generates 2 stacks of teachings of the monastery, so your blackout will hit 3 times - one baseline and 2 additional from monastery - which is enough for 3 stacks of chi-ji). It seems like the second tiger palm is wasteful when the goal isn't to maximize gust procs, no?

Depends, if I *really* want the gust healing I’ll use EF, otherwise just Faeline. When it comes to raid though we’ll use EF in 10.2 since it’s been buffed

Thank you! However, I don't understand the set up section of chinji. You mentioned to have 4 stacks of Teachings ready and then follow up with the rest of the spells before pressing chinji, however, I thought teachings only stacks up to 3?

Can you talk a bit about Mastery? I am currently running an almost 0 mastery build as recommended with Yulon but if I want to go back to Chi-Ji does Mastery become my highest priority secondary or what does that look like? Is Mastery still more important only if using Chi-Ji or is it becoming important for Yulon as well?

Mastery is Yu'lon's worst stat since there is no interaction, Chi-ji you'll feel Mastery's effect much more but it's still not something we should be stacking. Currently it's Haste>Crit>Vers>Mastery with Vers having more value in higher keys

I just picked up mw and this is sooo nice, I didnt know that the 3 target hit from awakened faeline counted for 3 casts of blackout kick with chi'ji! I was tiger palming in aoe too. To clarify, in aoe during chi'ji, you should not be using rising sun kick? Also how do you prioritize who gets the free casts of enveloping mists? Thank you so much!

Hi Megg, in the Chi Ji rotation why are we tiger palming twice in ST? i am getting three stacks of chi ji just by doing tiger palm x1 and then black out kick, if im standing in my stomp.

@@CrawwnkGaming if you are doing 1+1, then it's 3 gusts per 3 global (tiger, bok, env); 2+1 would be 5 gusts per 4 global (2 tiger, bok, env). So it's 25% more gusts/global rates at the cost of fewer envelopes.

The Essence Font hots don’t stack like that unfortunately, there’s just 2 different spell IDs for the FLS ones and the EF ones

came back to retail after years recently and decided to main mistweaver. timed all the 20 keys just in 3 weeks of playing thanks to your useful guides and pov's that you post! got a question though: here you mention the way we should use buffs from secret infusion with chi-ji but in mythic+ build that i run with now and that i see you use in your keys secret infusion is not picked due to other priorities. any changes about that in 10.2? or you just talk about raid rotation here?

Congrats on your 20s! For 10.2 we will be able to get 1 point in Secret Infusion in the M+ build since Ancient Concordance is being turned from a 2 pointer into a 1 pointer

I see alot of ppl saying that during multitargets 5+ ish, that you just spam spinning crane kick during ci ji. Is this wrong? is it better to follow the prio you have in the video?

It depends, you’ll get more (and burstier) healing out of the bok rotation but if you’re just using it as to help with maintenance healing then you can spin

​@@frex90 you have Chiji basically for every pack in m+ - and Chiji is very versatile, the guide here is for max Heal Output and that will be just an overkill in many packs - so just doing damage and take a bit advantage of the additional heal and shields is very convenient
