So he gets 27 years, the judge calls him a monster who shouldn’t be released but gives him 4 years off his sentence on appeal. The justice system is beyond a joke. Especially in the UK.

Absolutely!! I had to go to a counseling/therapy meeting for parents of surviving children. I met a set of parents there... If only they had locked their doors their 15 year old daughter would not have been abducted and raped. Lucky she did live and got away but the man was never identified or caught. I do not understand why people do this to children! Going to those meetings has taught me that even women can be evil too it’s so sad!😞 no child deserves this! And no parent! As the parent of a survivor I can tell you that it feels like you are the one that is also assaulted. You wish that you could take the abuse on so that your child never knew it! Or remembered it! I have heard of criminals admitting that if they come upon a home that is locked they will go to the next! So it is my hope that someone will read these comments and lock their doors! Because of reading this! It doesn’t matter how safe your town is it can happen anywhere!!

Then the family is allowed to take their life, or if they don’t want to, allow others who volunteer or we could even have people pay to be able to stab him to death. I was immediately hooked on this story when it made national news a day or two afterward. As soon as his identity and age was revealed later on, I drawn instant parallels to the James Bulger murder and how that equally rocked the nation. Manifestation of evil at such a young age seems beyond salvation.

Something like this happened in my hometown. Victim was a 5 year old boy, the rapist and murderer was a 17 year old kid. I went to school with his parents. His mom and i were fairly close, in a good circle of friends. Our town is only like 10000 ppl and is very isolated. My husband was a sheriff officer and our small PD called in the Sheriff for help with searching and investigating. His mom called me, crying, begged me to come over and bring my husband. For some reason i just knew. This little boy lived just over my friends back fence. Her rear camera caught the entire thing. It was grainy, but obvious. At least everyone rallied around both families. The moms walked hand in hand every single court hearing, trial, even every break in between. Very sad. Very horrifying. The murderers family also basically disowned him. He refused to confess or speak at all. He refused to say where the body was. Refused closure. It was wicked. There has to be something wrong with the kid. We all just thought he was quiet. Maybe on the spectrum. He was actually well behaved and intelligent. It was so strange. His family is beautiful, a well ingrained part of our small town. Hunters eventually found partial remains a week after his sentening.

But it may also be that influences on him, possibly many, led him to being capable of this terrible, unspeakable act. The fact that Alesha’s father was a drug dealer supplying to school kids doesn’t seem to get mentioned at all. Obviously because to do so would seem to lessen Campbell’s crime. Why is a 16 year old allowed to have a house party that goes on to the early hours of the morning. Especially with his history.

it's always been common in the UK to have house parties at any age. growing up in the 80s and clubbing in the 90s, where i come from they used to let kids as young as 5 go to house parties. my first house party was about 6 and there was people chasing lines off coffee tables, a brawl, booze everywhere and drugs. it's always been pretty lenient in many areas of the UK for many years

We're all so liberal and tolerant here. ! Every small town in Britain had these druggie term scum who are tolerated by the useless police. Inevitably they end up committing serious crimes incl rape and murder . Surprise ! Surprise !

Justice system my ass!!! There are WAY to MANY cases similar to this one where they “monster” has not been sentenced as they should be. WAY to MANY, get let out and offend again in the same way they did when getting sent down the first, second, third, fourth time and so on. It’s disgusting.

I agree this channel is top notch. I just subscribed. I feel this channel is much underrated. As the editing and narration is very good. Not just a bunch of barely relevant stock footage with a photo or two of the actual people.

100% I prefer this style. I’d rather watch videos about the victims, crime scene, perpetrators, etc. than watch the same person sitting in front of a camera talking about various cases.
