These little babies were absolutely precious and deserved so much better!! I have a baby sister(6 years old)whom I became the full time caregiver for from the time she was 5 months old so it was just us every day from 6 am to 5 in the evening while both my parents worked. As a result we’re exceptionally close (there’s a 20 year age gap between us)probably even more so bc she almost didn’t make it after my mom was tboned while pregnant and had mom not stayed in the hospital afterwards Emilia wouldn’t be here(the umbilical cord became wrapped around her neck)and she was a preemie. Though I didn’t birth her she’s one of my greatest joys and when she appeared in my life I learned an entirely new,profound and deep way of loving another soul. I have no idea what I would do without her I would fight like hell against anyone or anything who would ever attempt to harm her,willing to die for her if needed,I never realized I could love anyone so much,the fact that Lexi and Scarlet had their lives stolen from them by the ONE person who was supposed to keep them safe makes this case just that much more horrific and resonates with me on a whole other level.My Emilia is beautiful,smart,exceptionally empathetic towards those who are struggling and most of all FULL of sass I’m blessed every single day to be her Sissy if only this “momster”had enough of a soul to realize just how incredibly lucky SHE was to have Scarlet and Lexi as hers but even though she is so twisted,there’s MULTIPLE people in her circle who would’ve scooped the littles up in 2 seconds and given them a wonderful life had Louise actually said something!!❤️‍🔥😭

My youngest son got RSV when he was 14 days old - he turned blue at home and on and off on the way to the ER. They took him straight into the ICU and saved his life but those moments of sitting with him in the backseat and screaming his name and then watching nurses put an IV into my tiny baby are snippets in time that show up in my nightmares. I’ll never forget. We didn’t eat. I couldn’t shower. All my milk dried up and I couldn’t breastfeed him. I couldn’t sleep. I remember staring at the machine showing his O2 stats and my heart stopping every time it showed a low number. He survived thanks to those nurses and now I have a beautiful, healthy 9 year old. I will never forget that fear and outright panic. How this woman can hurt her children and still live, herself, is baffling to me. She is a special breed of monster.

On Christmas Day 2020, my daughter fractured her femur during a seizure. She is non verbal. The hospital staff asked me a lot of questions regarding her situation at home and if my husband and son had been left alone with her. I was so shocked. I was visibly upset and finally a senior doctor said there were no bruises or other injuries and apologised for the situation. I said it was ok and understood they had to ask …. However, why don’t the real abusers get asked these questions?

I’ve unfortunately had many visits to A +E and there’s often children I’ve been worried about and in my opinion are not in a happy family environment. During Covid I was on my own yet other families were there and clearly breaking the rules. It makes me sad when you see parents ignoring their children and constantly on their phones. I felt very isolated and just concentrated on my daughter’s well being, because that’s what a loving and caring parent does. On one occasion, a very obnoxious senior consultant entered the room and put the bright lights on, I stood up and turned them off, he put them back on and said….mother, I need to see your child! I explained we’d been in the darkened room for 6 hours and she was sensitive to light. He then said he was too cold and turned off the fan. I told him she was very hot and unable to regulate her body temperature. He walked out in a temper! By the time we were taken to a ward, approximately 20 mins away my daughter’s temperature had increased and we were placed in a ward with Covid patients. Finally, a junior doctor came to help and apologised and actually understood my daughter’s condition, Rett Syndrome. We were then moved and isolated until the following day when multiple Covid tests came back negative. I was made to feel like a bad parent and all I wanted was the best for my daughter. Unfortunately, some doctors and nurses aren’t very professional.

Because abusers tend to be adept at lying. I’m with you about how if feels being asked probing questions. Our first baby ‘wasn’t thriving’ I was breastfeeding BUT dieting, which I didn’t know was bad, so we both were losing weight but he wasn’t meant to. I kept begging to take him to the dr but it would take hubby’s mother to demand it before he’d allow it. The doctor wrote down ‘child at risk’ and I got grilled next to my husband who said nothing and was asked nothing. I was given a special formula and had to bring our son in every day for two weeks, the relief was huge when he started gaining weight! It was awful, even understanding they were being protective of our son, it was difficult not to cry during that first grilling.

@@judywright4241 I totally understand. My daughter was classified as morbidly underweight with a high risk of mortality from about the age of 7. The doctor was very rude and disrespectful towards me. I finally agreed to a gastrostomy tube fitted. She gained weight slowly but I wanted to continue feeding her orally as I didn’t want her to lose the ability to chew and swallow. Anyhow, when she snapped her femur in half after 2 months they finally did blood tests and her bone density was very low and the fracture was inevitable. She now has a very curved spine and her hips are out of place too. The doctor never tested her for bone fragility. If he had she would still be walking … she eats one more potato than a pig and loves her food and snacks. She suffered from terrible constipation for many years and I accidentally discovered she has IBS and told the doctor. He left us for many years in a state of despair and our daughter screaming in pain. It’s disgusting that this happened and we’ve had to fight for her nearly all her life. Our daughter was born by planned C-section and was seemingly perfect. She passed her 12 month health check then suddenly began to regress. It was a difficult time for all of us. When I look back at old photos and videos it was obvious she had Rett syndrome yet the consultant took 9 months to get the diagnosis. He phoned me at home and told me over the telephone. I’m so happy he’s finally retired as he was blatantly disrespectful to me and on the few occasions my husband was able to join us at appointments he spoke over me and never made eye contact with me. He’s now retired and has a £250,000 a year pension! It makes my blood boil as he has caused unnecessary pain and stress for our daughter and has never had to explain himself . In my opinion he’s completely negligent and should have to take some responsibility but that will never happen.

She obviously had a mental health issue and if it is true that social services were called, then these sweet babies were failed on many levels.

The way these cases are handled and explained is so caring and thoughtful. I end up crying every single time, no other true crime channel is as heartfelt as this one. Poor Lexi and Scarlett. I always thought if I was ever blessed with a daughter, I would name her Alexandra and call her Lexi. I never got the chance to have my Lexi though and it's horrifying to me that she murdered hers.

bro my parents would be in HYSTERICS and were if anything happened to us when we were little, and they still get anxious and worried about us even as adults. my brother as a toddler one time was choking in the night and my parents almost had a heart attack and panicked on the phone to the hospital. they would panic if we didn't answer them for a while, and my mother would cry in her sleep. to have a parent who doesn't show that kind of love and worry about a child dying is absolutely incomprehensibly monstrous.

I'm a resident of rugby and whats even worse about this is that if lexie had been alive when the paramedics arrived. It would have been 30 minute ride to the cov hospital as we only have a minor injuries unit working at st cross hospital. Who knows if she would have made it through the ambulance ride. We also only have one ambulance stationed in rugby, the rest have to be sent over from either cov, northampton or Leicester thanks to funding cuts

@eadweard. its not political if its literally the truth. We do not have an A&e in st Cross where she could have gone anymore as it is now for ar worse broken bones, not maternity unit either. Everything that is usable at st cross is all stuff that you need referrals for. Tell me where i brought politics into it beside mentioning that we dont have an A&E or ambulances in our hospital and our nearest fully running one is at least half an hour away. I was merely stating how even if those poor girls had half a chance, they might not have made the journey thanks to the distance short of being airlifted.
