The Moose is a dream plane -- long range , land anywhere and whole family capacity .

Broussards are pretty cool as well. Of course Beavers are too! 😎 13.3 GPH at cruise on the Moose is hugely more fuel efficient though.

Great to find out about RAF, My dad was an EAA member for years, before he passed. I remember going to the EAA fly-in in Rockford Illinois back in the early 1960's

Two years A&P class then 911 happened then I went back to construction. We built piper cub in two years. Beautiful plane. Sweet sharing

Great coverage of the RAF (I am one of the State Liaisons up in New England) and our mission as well as Shane's beautiful Moose. I met Shane and the Moose on Creighton Island back in 2022 - it is an amazing airplane and enormous! That Russian radial is pretty sweet too.

Sure I can build a Moose with 400 HP if I have the money and space. But I definitely put a 3 or 4 blade prop on it, not cheap out on 2 blades.

Don’t you think they would have done their homework regarding the prop. I can think of a few occasions where a two blade is better than three or four blades.

I'm just guessing but I would say he looks at the camera screen to see if his subjects are still in the frame because he is holding the camera with his other hand and may need to correct occasionally.
