A Morning in the Life of a Zoo Medicine Resident - Dr. Lauren Mumm

Through her zoological medicine residency at the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Lauren Mumm is gaining experience caring for hundreds of species across the animal kingdom while conducting research that improves the way veterinarians care for these creatures worldwide. Follow Mumm through a morning at the North Carolina Zoo, one of her primary workplaces during her residency, as she cares for an African elephant, a bongo antelope and a freshwater river turtle.
