That was awesome....I had a mouse living in my mountain once...I was noticing stuff missing like bushes, foliage....trees....things moved around. Thought it was the cat until I noticed her laying on my track looking into the tunnel....I removed the mountain and there was a nest....

As my railways are in the cellar of my old house, I had the same problem many years ago. There are no longer any lichen or other natural tree armatures on the layouts anymore. All artificial, nothing edible. And as the first interview in your newscast began, I was instantly transported to the episodes of Time Team, the voice of Phil Harding coming to mind.

That's interesting, I never realised that seafoam trees might attract hungry mice, they must have been desperate!

There was evidence of mouse activity in a neighbours basement, so I think they somehow made it up to my loft from there. Swift action has been taken to evict them! The Newsround music does bring back memories!
