I love thé humour throughout. I’m a Doc and I’m long serving military so I’ve got a really black sense of humour which not many civvies understand. I often get weird looks for my “inappropriate humour” when I’m out & about 🙄🤦‍♀🤷‍♀ Listening to Bailey is like being around my colleagues who all share the same black humour! It’s great. I’ve read somewhere that the reason the contractors didn’t know about what some of the rooms on the second floor was, was because Holmes gave them different “maps” of what to build and also why he changed contractors so often. You should look into the case of Aurore Gagnon. I'm french Canadian and her case is infamous. It's heartbreaking and disturbing but also a cautionary tale of what happens when no one steps in and speaks up when a child is being abused. Hopefully there is enough English language information out there for you to learn from. There are two French language films made about her case. My province keeps showing her movies on tv so that people will remember that cases like hers still exist today.
