I have an open bay in my warch box. 8 is my limit... and I just gifted one of my pieces to my eldest child. I have always been fascinated. Buy regulator watches and have been looking for a while now. Something not too expensive, but not too weird. But but but but but... Needless to say, thank you SoCal watch reviews. You found my next timepiece. I agree that the silver dial that you featured is the sharpest of the collection.... or is it??? Also... it's sold out. Doh! Upon taking a closer look at the different colorways.... i was suddenly drawn to the red dial on a black strap with those blued hands... I plan on ordering the navy blue strap to go as an extra. it balances really well with the blued hands. Yeah... fun stuff. Point of fact I was looking at the Longines Jazzmaster regulator, but I wasn't crazy about the motion picture motif with the projector reels. It seemed a little clowny. Of course, you could say the same about a red dial being a little clowny, but it works for me so I'll shut up now and thank you once again.I've got to go order myself a watch and a couple of straps. Glad to see these getting more attention. Hoping to get one of these in the next two months. Definitely Journe vibes, and despite the caliber also not being my favorite, that dial is incredible. Thinking I might try it on a curved end grey rubber strap, or dark blue. I love a dress watch on integrated rubber. If anyone has an idea for a rubber strap that might look nice post it here!

This is one of those watches it gets more interesting the longer you look at it. The polishing, the crown, the dial everything seems so interesting and intricate. The movement is part of the mystery... How did they do it haha! This is the kind of watch for a c-suite exec that is looking to maximize his public image while not breaking the bank!
