We have put Bidets on all of our toilets including the Motor Home. Ours have hot and cold running water . The seats are not as fancy as yours but we did put in a porcelein toilet in the Motor Home to make it fit better. We love them and don't know how we lived without them

I have had one for about 8 years. A different brand with a light. Love it. Wouldn't want to live without it. Not thrilled when I have to use someone else's regular toilet. Have gotten compliments on how nice it is.

We already have something similar and I love it. There are times that I am in so much pain that my limbs won’t cooperate. This add on bidet works like a charm. We purchased the “tushy” brand and after a few years, it’s still works great. Thanks for being brave and presenting this product.

We've had one for a couple of years now, and love it. You really miss it when you go on vacation! Some people can't wait to get back to their own beds, we can't wait to get back to our bidet.

I bought one from Costco in January 2020 due to have a shoulder surgery & knee replacement. This was before The COVID PANDEMIC was released so this was a big help because I only had bought 10 rolls of T.P. once for the whole year of 2020. Mine had all your features including the light.

Had a bidet in the last place I lived before moving to TV a couple months ago. Didn't know if I'd like it or not until I tried it. Once. Then I knew. Will be adding one to my Villages home. Want to emphasize - you'll need an electric outlet next to the toilet, so factor in that cost. Last time I had a colonoscopy, that warm spray during the prep was a welcome relief. Would be worth the cost just for that.

I have had one for a few years . Best thing ever! Especially if mobility issues or older people . Totally easy to set up and maintain. Glad you brought attention to these . The brand you chose is one of the best . They Should start putting these in all new builds . Mine has a light which I like .

When we purchased our first bidet during that "special time" it had no fancy functions - and we also wondered how we managed without (I still can't figure out how the Europeans use theirs without taking off their clothes, but that's another topic). We recently sold our first home in the villages and in the new house we purchased two new bidets ... I wish I had seen this great advertisement sooner. i have a brondell washlet. my wife and i love it and miss it when we go on holidays. if you can reach the hot water tap while sitting beside you , you don't need electricity. just turn on the hot water tap prior to using especially in the winter. it taps into both the hot water sink access pipe and cold water from the toilet tank. you also need tiny wipe cloths that you launder and reuse.

Thats a nice model, thanks! I lived overseas for 10 years (Middle East) and a bidet is the way to "go"! I used Village Plumbing for the install, they quoted me a price without having to come over first! Mine isn't as fancy, so no electricity was needed. Lots of models and manufacturers to choose from.

omg my hubby travels to asia and let me tell u we have had bidets now for over 10 years in our home we can’t live without them . huge difference i can’t live without ours . we just bought a new home by our grandkids and i’ll tell you we just installed 2 new ones and going to add a third in the other bathroom . the heated seat is a amazing too ! 😂 i’m hooked on ours .

When I designed, then built my house in The VIllages, I made 100% sure I had them put an outlet near the toilet so I can get Brondell Bidet to provide heated water. When I was living in Pennsylvania the winter water is extremely cold. Having unheated water in a Bidet is like a laser cutter on your rear! Once you have a bidet you will never want to live without one.

Same as Jerry, I had to go to Japan on business about 12 years ago. This is a standard feature everywhere in Japan, even in highway rest stops! They are amazing and a much healthier, cleaner way to take care of your “business”……..loved the humor you put into this. ….seriously, I would sent this video to Toto…..I bet they would love it! Great upgrade not just for us older folks either. Once you try it, you may never leave it 😂😂

Here in Switzerland these toilets have been around for many many years and people still continue to have them installed - ours is not just the lid but the whole unit sold as a bidet toilet. Ours have a remote control -same functions as yours. I turned off the „open the lid as you approach the toilet“ and ours opens and closes with a push of the remote (I think you can disengage this). It also has a motion sensor so that if you walk by in the dark, a blue light will shine under the toilet. My husband (swiss) loves it, me not so much - I personally feel I still need TP to do the job for me…but I am an exception!!!!!!!!

I actually know a family and the wife is from Japan and they have one of these in their powder room. I just saw it three days ago and when the door to the powder room moves the seat goes up (and they have the light feature) automatically. It is a Toto, the best. I've been looking to get one since the pandemic. I really do hate wasting so much toilet paper. The only thing stopping me is getting the electrician. But I have another project so I will have to get that done. I have 3 bathrooms but I think I'll put them 2 since the guest bathroom does not get that much use. Glad you did this.

What a thoughtful video, Linda and Jerry!!! 😀 I am in my mid 60ies and broke my arm two years ago and going to the restroom became a huge ordeal and gave me a painful look into the future for one of the most human necessity. The price might sounds high for a second, but if you add up the costs alone for toilet paper these days, it is really not. From watching your videos when you talk about prices e.g water/electricity compared to what we pay in the panhandle, your prices are always significantly lower. Have a great rest of the week!

Our Toto is 4 yrs old. However, I will never again depend on it TOTALLY for its cleaning ability: Last year I had an appt w/our Urologist. After the exam was over & I was redressing,, I saw a few tissues in the exam table refuse. They had apparently 'wiped my bum' for me during the exam of slight 'staining'....... HOW EMBARRASSING - it's a good thing I was alone then! If I ever have an upcoming Dr's appt like this again - I will use normal wet wipes & toilet tissue!

While mine is not as fancy (I have the Tushy Bidet), I've used mine for about 7 years and I don't know how I ever lived without one. I bought a four-pack of TP 3 years ago (for guests) and I still have two rolls. When I travel and don't have use of a bidet, it grosses me out, so I purchased a little handheld squeeze bottle - not the same but better than nothing. Once you use a bidet for a while, you can't live without one, and for anyone with frequent bladder infections, constipation, or who wears garments for leakage, a bidet will be life-changing.

I’m an inter-designer and my clients that were originally were from Europe or South America have been installing these Toto Washlets for a long time (since early 90’s!) But lately it seems everybody wants them. Just finished a project in Sarasota and we purchased the Uber fancy ones for every bathroom. Love the heated seat feature. 😀

What a GREAT video! Informative and amusing! My husband installed much cheaper bidets in our 3 bathrooms, a year ago. Different brand, not Toto. They are OK, but don’t have the great features that yours do! Maybe eventually we will get the Toto ones! But first, we have to earmark money for a new roof - and a cruise to Alaska next July, which I think you know a little something about! 😊

In 2012 I was fortunate to spend 6 weeks in Hawaii. My hotel room had one of these amazing toilets. I recommend them highly. One of these days I will put two in. They are worth every penny. You haven't lived until you have sat down on a heated toilet seat after a long day.

Amazon sells inexpensive bidets for $25 to $35. Some cost more. It takes 10 minutes to install and works great. No electrical outlet. Haven't purchased toilet paper in 2 years.

One more item to maintain and repair when it needs to be done! I’m a widow and need to pay someone to have household items repaired and/or replaced. I’ve gotten along for 78 years with an ordinary toilet and think I’ll manage the remainder of my life without the “Toto” toilet. However, the video was humorous!!
