For filling peanut early i doing without put plan flour my dough is hard after steam. Now i use yr filling put in plan flour now the dough is soft. Thank you so much share.😍

I got them from Phoon Huat in Singapore. I believe you can also get them online. Search for Ang Ku Kueh mold in Google.

Whats the purpose of making the glutinuous rice flour paste the night before? Where did u get ur mold from?

May I ask ...Is the Mung bean cook in 400 ml water or 180 ml as on your written recipe?

How do I store my left over ang ku kueh? Will it be harder if kept in the fridge for overnight?

Keep in the fridge in an airtight container. Yes it will be slightly harden but you just need to thaw at room temp to soften the skin back before eating. You can also very lightly steam it.

Wow! The labour of love that went into your ku kueh...one word - WOW! But I wonder why do we need to leave the glutinous flour dough overnight in the fridge?

Thanks Elizabeth. The reason for keeping the glutinous dough in the fridge overnight is to achieve a softer and QQ texture skin.

Without sweet potatoes, the skin will not remain soft after a few days just like ondeh ondeh. The addition of sweet potatoes to the dough makes these kueh stays soft and chewy for longer time.

Klaine CrissColfer, Are you able to get pandan paste or pandan essence at the stores? if not then make it without any and it will be white if you don't want to use any food colouring. It'll still looks good and taste nice.

Hi, wondering if using pandan essence to substitute, how much of it to mix it to achieve your pandan coconut paste? Is it just add coconut milk with the pandan essence?

@ Kar Man Chan - I'm sorry but you have to just add and adjust accordingly. I've only use pandan extract and not essence.
