I'm married to this man since 3.5 yrs now and he has been really good and everything but his family is very negative and he always listens and takes side of his family, never listen to my pov in any situation. I've tried explaining him a lot of times but he they will change inshaallah but how much should i suffer because of his family. Always because of this, we 2 have a fight and we don't talk for days. His father passed away 8 yrs ago and he thinks it is only his responsibility to fulfill all his mother wishes although he has a elder brother. But he never really listen to my opinion in any thing or in any matters, always asks his mom and takes her opinion. I really feel he doesn't value me as a wife or doesn't consider me worthy enough to take my opinion in any matter. I'm really tired of this and feel like giving up on our marriage. his mother emotionally blackmails him and gets all her work done by him. I feel like I'm being taken for granted in his life. I've been suffering this for a long time now, and since he doesn't listens to me. I feel like i should leave him and separate. I ask Allah for clarity in my opinion and please pray for me.

Jazak Allah akhair; I'm curious to understand the concept of "parda" during those times. While it could be women from the "people" who recognised her on way through eygpt, our modern day women are often quick to imply a different meaning and use it to justify and give a different interpretation of the religion.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) Abraham emigrated with Sarah and entered a village where there was a king or a tyrant. (The king) was told that Abraham had entered (the village) accompanied by a woman who was one of the most charming women. So, the king sent for Abraham and asked, 'O Abraham! Who is this lady accompanying you?' Abraham replied, 'She is my sister (i.e. in religion).' Then Abraham returned to her and said, 'Do not contradict my statement, for I have informed them that you are my sister. By Allah, there are no true believers on this land except you and 1.' Then Abraham sent her to the king. When the king got to her, she got up and performed ablution, prayed and said, 'O Allah! If I have believed in You and Your Apostle, and have saved my private parts from everybody except my husband, then please do not let this pagan overpower me.' On that the king fell in a mood of agitation and started moving his legs. Seeing the condition of the king, Sarah said, 'O Allah! If he should die, the people will say that I have killed him.' The king regained his power, and proceeded towards her but she got up again and performed ablution, prayed and said, 'O Allah! If I have believed in You and Your Apostle and have kept my private parts safe from all except my husband, then please do not let this pagan overpower me.' The king again fell in a mood of agitation and started moving his legs. On seeing that state of the king, Sarah said, 'O Allah! If he should die, the people will say that I have killed him.' The king got either two or three attacks, and after recovering from the last attack he said, 'By Allah! You have sent a satan to me. Take her to Abraham and give her Ajar.' So she came back to Abraham and said, 'Allah humiliated the pagan and gave us a slave-girl for service." (Sahih Al Bukhari)

THE GOSPEL Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: - 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4 KJV Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. - John 15:13 KJV SAVALATION For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. - John 3:16 KJV For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:17 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. - John 14:6 KJV Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Romans 5:10 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. - Isaiah 53:5 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. - Mark 1:15 KJV He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. - John 3:36 KJV Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began. 2 Timothy 1:9 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. Luke 19:10 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Mark 16:16 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:22 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:7-8 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. John 10:9

#1 Do you believe that There is existence? - You see existence around you and you yourself can confirm that you exist #2 Do you believe that There is uniformity, regularity, and stability in nature? - Currently I’m wearing a t-shirt - Why is this shirt not randomly combusting, exploding, or flying away? - It is because there are basic principles that don’t allow that? - For example it’s a fact that you sitting on your bed means your bed won’t just decide to eat you up - For example you walk around you’re confident that your leg won’t just detach from your body - For example a tree won’t start growing out of you now all of a sudden #3 Therefore there has to be an existence that explains the uniformity, regularity, and stability in nature < Now that’s what we say is the first cause > - because if there is an existence that explains the uniformity, regularity and stability of nature, That first cause needs to have certain attributes First attribute: - first cause means that its the start of everything Second attribute: - The first cause implies that they are not first causes, it’s a first cause; singular - the distinction I’m making here is monotheism and polytheism - People that believe that there’s only one God and people who believe that there’s a bunch of gods Third attribute: - now this first cause is alone and doesn’t rely on anything or anyone since it’s the first cause isn’t it First by definition meaning that there’s no one else there but the first - so it’s by itself, it’s self-sufficient, relys on itself and then what comes afterwards relys on the first cause - a way of thinking of this is that everything’s now being produced from the first cause Now if that first cause “came into existence” Then it won’t be the first cause because there’s something that came before it and made that come into existence innit (the one that came into existence) Therefore that first cause must be omnipotent (been there forever) Omniscient (knows everything) And the designer and creator of all (Does that make sense?) - so we as Muslims believe that the first cause has attributes and these attributes are best explained via Islam - Hinduism -> many gods (contradictory to first cause principles) can’t have many gods - Christianity-> Jesus (an entity that came into existence) which is also contradictory to the first cause principles
