A Palestinian doctor’s fight to speak about Gaza on Nakba Day | The Take

Dr. Ghassan Abu-Sittah treated patients at hospitals all throughout Gaza shortly after October 7. Last month, he was blocked from entering much of Europe to share what he saw. He has now won a legal battle challenging that travel ban. On the 76th anniversary of the Nakba, he explains his fight to share what he saw in Gaza.

@olley0106 You should educate yourself on the root cause of the Nakba. You might be surprised to find that it was caused by the Arab invasion in 1948, most Palestinians were told to leave by the Arab leaders. Arabs who rejected said order to evacuate are now still living as Arab Israelis in Israel. Also, that rocket that hit the hospital on 17th October was almost certainly caused by a malfunctioning Islamic Jihad rocket that was fired at Israel.

The British mandate 1921 and Hagana forces committed killing and migrating Palestinian people to neighbouring countries . The British army left Palestine 1948 after the UN 1948 approved the occupation of Palestine. Palestinian people have for over a hundred years endured injustice treatment and genocides by the occupation.
