I hope I get see either tool or a perfect circle live one more time. I feel like Maynard, as much as I adore the bands performance, is starting to not enjoy performing. He said in an interview that his voice isn't the same either. To bad I couldn't have seen them live in the 90s but I just just a kid going to elementary school. Thanks for all the great live performances posted on KZbin.

I saw them in 2007 after the thirteenth step came out in birmingham Alabama and it was an amazing show. Hope a new album by them or tool comes out soon. I sure have missed Maynard and co.

i just seen a interview with M.J.K. he mentioned how he was having an issue with his voice. the interviewer asked if it had to do with all the wine over the last 10 years and he said he would never admit it played a part. but he also said he hopes as he dose more concerts that he will be able to hit the harder notes. TOOL and APC and M.J.K have been with me fore 2 decades. and no matter what i will always love what he dose they all rock!!!!

They will be. His vocals are pretty hard to hit and hold for any singer, and as well he did it in his earlier years you can imagine doing it after singing/screaming for decades. Even though his voice seems to crack at times he still has his own well known epic way of singing that's put me back to saving for a plane ticket to his next concert (hopefully with tool on new album release)! :)

To everyone talking about Maynard´s voice... I saw an interview with him, made in 2011 0 2012, and he confessed it was hard for him to reach several parts of different APC songs, he said that those songs were made 10 years ago, and found it hard to sing the same way after all these years. He´s getting old, or tired, or both, there´s nothing wrong in accepting that. It simply is so.

I can say from personal experience that you always at the mercy of the soundperson/system live. Even the best singers have problems staying in tune if they can't hear themselves

MJK will always be my favorite vocalist of all time but Billy sounds amazing here ! I mean I always loved his backing vocals on APC and his voice on Ashes Divide but I believe his voice has gotten a lot better ( probably due to singing for Ashes divide)
