I am not sure. Sorry, I don't even know what M50II looks like. It will stabilise any standard camera and a lens combo. Not really suitable for compact cameras or phones

it should take it ok. You need to check what the combined weight is and if it is not more than the max payload of this gimbal. I don't think you can control Sony cameras via USB with it though

it most likely won't be compatible to connect the camera with USB to it and to be controlled by the buttons on the gimbal. Absolutely compatible as a gimbal

Monopod for what? There are different ones for photography and video. I used to use a Manfrotto one ages ago but it was just slowing me down every time. It's easier for me to shoot video hand held in slo-mo and rely on IBIS. Zobacz moj nowy polski kanal: www.youtube.com/@aparatografia

theoretically yes. The USB connection won't control Sony cameras though

It is amazing how affordable (relatively speaking) it has become for anyone to achieve crane shots now. When she talks about the top heavyness; is it possible to attach counter weights to the other end of the boom arm to help with that issue?

Possibly you can but it is a length of it that makes it top heavy. As I said, it probably is just practice and getting used to it

@@PavSZ I might be wrong here, but yes, the overall weight will be heavier, but it will become easier handle as it would no longer be top/front heavy. Same reason you add a pommel to a sword, as to balance the blade. Sword does get heavier, but easier to wield.

You failed to answer one thing though: apart for brand loyalty, why get this over a Feiyutech gimbal? This is essentially just a rebranded Feiyutech gimbal.

Omg I just saw this gimbal in a post and I was like wait… This is a Feiyutech AK4500? So yes, probably rebranded… my question is: do you know if you can install either Feiyutech and Manfrotto firmware? Is Manfrotto updating their firmware? I wish they could give support to Sony FX cameras to be able to control the record button
