To be honest I have no more ideas for making any Plague Tale content anymore.

@Robrrto Ruina It got me too. Everything about this game is great. Amicia's voice actress, Charlotte McBurney, did a PHENOMENAL job and really sold every emotion. I haven't wanted to play anything since I beat it a few days ago. Innocence and Requiem are gems and deserve far more recognition than it has. This ending impacted me more than GOW:Ragnarok, and I'm all about that game, but Hugo's death just hit hard. What a sorrow-inducing masterpiece!

I bought Miles Morales to play it on launch date 18 November. I completed Requiem on 16 November. The death of Hugo has bothered me so much that I haven't even logged in on my PC since 16th. The excitement of Miles Morales just vanished.

This game series is... It's one of the best game series ever... I've been very terrified after Hugo's death, in depression for 2 days, can't focus on my lessons, can't forget Amicia's screaming, her shaking hands and voice, anxious breathing... That was something... After those experiences it became one of my favorite games... Never gonna forget this... Never...

Well this game can’t compete to big franchises like GoW or Elden Ring but it has a special place in my heart for the best game I’ve played this year. All the characters are so memorable since the first game. Salute to everyone at involved for making this game and everyone who played and enjoy it. I hope we’ll get the third game because I want this title to be more recognition and become BIG.

Plague Tale doesn't get enough credit for the fact that it's a fully complete game without DLC to finish telling Amicia and Hugo's story, and is totally playable from beginning to end without any game breaking glitches that need a post-launch patch. Very few developers and publishers have this level of integrity with their games these days.

The emotional and psychological brutality in this game (and its antecessor) are so... vivid, so strong. The story is incredibly touching. I still haven't fully recovered. Amicia and Hugo will be a story that will be with me, in my head, for a loooong time. Thank you for these games.

I finished requiem a few days ago and I'm still shaken. What a phenomenal story with a beautiful soundtrack to back it up. That ending was just so heartshattering and I was almost unable to do it. Not so fun fact, if you don't finish the job, Lucas reluctantly does.

I served in the military and they shaved our hair when we came in. The game did not show this scene, but Arnaud who was a knight , cut her hair so he could bandage Amicias wound. It left her only with long braided pony tail. After Amicia's fight with the Count ( another knight), he cut off this section of her hair. This left Amicia with short hair and in the end of the game, we see her in her mountain home with this same short hair. Amicia decided to keep her hair like this. This was somehow her intiation's to her protectors role and also her same role as the brave knight protector as her predecessor Aelia.

War changes people. I hope you did not have to experience horrible things during your time in the military. I think it was a nice touch too see Amicia changing on the outside (with the hair you already mentioned) because not only did she change on the outside but also on the inside. And we as player can experience a little bit of what the change in Amicia must have been. I am very grateful for experiencing this wonderful game and of course for your comment.

i would like to oppose u little bit that the cut hair by count is not the same short hair she has at the end, bcs with that much short hair it would be impossible to braid it any way, suggesting that at the end Amicia actually cut all of her hair to possibly move from the past as the change of the hairstyle shows people changing their mental status or moving on, but I agree there is some kind of symbolism you mentioned

Actually mine was shortly after the chase with the count. The part where you control the rats with Hugo to kill all the soldiers. Overall I think the game was not really difficult, maybe sometimes a bit frustrating.

Wonder how will be the 3rd game. The direction of it. Sure, the plague will return, it will happen in modern era, advanced medicine, more weapons, napalm, molotov, advanced flamethrowers. I think the numbers of rats and their attack strategy will have to differ by alot to come closer to balance in order to compete with modern weaponry. We had 2 games with same characters, but the 3rd game will be with new characters. It's not a change many players can embrace, so let's hope the devs will carefully write the story and develop the new characters. This masterpiece deserves a trilogy, or maybe even more parts, reason why devs must take their time to create another masterpiece.

I would like to see a spin off in the same timeline as Hugo and Amicia. We could see or play as Robert de Rune (Father of the De Rune children). Or even a totally different perspective on the calamity the plague brought. Man, so many possibilities.

@@Dushback Maybe play with the characters from Justinian plague? Basilius and Aelia? We do know their fate, but still. An expansion would be enough for Robert, since he is just a landlord or something, don't think he had an adventure even half of how Amicia and Hugo had, not even in his youth. The perspective part would be interesting, dunno about the story, rather than survival and no other purpose. But not exagerating with the other perspectives, because it will result in milking the same plot. An end must be to Plague Tale, and probably the modern era will offer. A cure to cut off the connection to the Macula and never spread through generations. Can even be a backstory to show how Prima Macula started to exist. Basilius was the first one to be infected, but we still don't know the origins of Macula, how it came to existence, how it happens to act like a hivemind, it's alien-ish, hundreds of millions of rats appearing just like that.

That is another possibility, but... I don't see it as feasible, why? To begin with, a "A Plague Tale" in current times, would ruin the essence of the game, which is set in medieval times, with all its medieval themes that we already know, in addition to the fact that rats are afraid of light, it is a game yes or yes set in that time, making a sequel in another time is ruining the saga. Second, Amicia and Hugo are the heart of the game, a third installment with other protagonists would be absurd, they will never be able to replace the De Rune brothers, who literally fell in love with them in both games, would not be successful. Anyway, I am going to support my belief that Hugo will return in a third installment, if not, that another "A Plague Tale" does not come out, the saga ends here, or that Hugo returns.

Maybe "A Plague Tale" is ended, but not the disease. So maybe the 3rd game will be called something else if they plan to release.
