First of all I love the way you guys play with each other. Have you considered standup comedy. Next some clarifications. A) You can use non boot movement after entering a security area: CIS Rules PG 6> Whenever you enter a security checkpoint, you are forced to stop to avoid detection. You cannot use any more Boots this turn. You may still be able to move by Teleporting (described in Advanced Maneuvers), but you won’t be able to use Boots until your next turn. B) You may continue to move after hacking a terminal. Notice this rule unlike the Security Room, Hyperlift or Telepad rules does not state "You cannot use any more Boots this turn.": CIS Rules PG 6> When you’re in a space with a data port, you may place one of your two Data cubes on it. You immediately get the bonus or penalty shown. That port can’t be used again (by any player) for the rest of the game. Security will respond to your intrusion, so you have to stay on the move. Because of this, you can’t place your second Data cube in the same module of the spaceship as your first.

I think I'll make a house rule that if your phone goes off while playing Clank! with me you get to put in 5 clank.

Thank you for doing the play through. This game sounded really interesting, but seeing it played it really doesn't look like the type of game my group would enjoy. So once again thank you dice tower!

Very fun. I'm glad they improved on the original. Added to my wishlist.

Would love to watch these playthroughs but they are always so blurry I can't see anything

I like that there seems to be a much better access to money in this version. Base Clank can really be stingy with money letting one player monopolize the market if they get lucky.

Did anybody else expect to see Bower after hearing that intro music?

I've actually been hearing this intro on another channel for several years. Every time I hear it, my body gets ready to hear the latest in CAD design. Ha!

I've read up on this game and its predecessor -- rules from the publisher's website, all the reviews on BGG, the various video play-through sessions here on KZbin, etc -- and I really want to like it, but... The more I watch it played the more it strikes me as being needlessly fiddly, with lots of little icons and sub-rules and other stuff that you could easily miss/overlook during play. I'd very much like to hear from someone who has actually had the game on the table about their impression of how "intuitive" the game is to play, of how smoothly and logically it flows.

After the first playthrough it's not fiddly at all. Very light and fast. In! Space! has more rules and options but it also prevents the "run in, run out ASAP" strategy in the original.

I played the game in Tabletop Sim. It's very fun, and after a bit of practice, all the icons and rules are quite intuative.
@ryanrose87126 жыл бұрын
Andrew Varga the run in run out in the first clank is not a winning strategy which is the first thing I explain to people first playing the game. It’s not a problem unless your group makes it such

Lancer Macman definitely not fiddly and easy to play. The original much more so than the space

Good playthrough, but constructive criticism: I am hoping all the good video gear is packed away for GenCon because this is some of the fuzziest (or poorly focused?) 1080p60 I've seen on KZbin... I think my iPhone would do a much better job. Also, please stick to the board view... Always... I really do love the banter, but the camera view of me sitting as a virtual "player", four feet away from a board I can't make out and at a 30 degree angle is pretty much useless and, in all honesty, quite frustrating. Cheers!

Just because you say it's constructive criticism, doesn't mean it is. "...my iPhone would do a much better job." "...useless and, in all honesty, quite frustrating." These are not the words used in constructive criticism. The focus is quite soft... but in both cameras. Which makes me think that it may have been an export/compression issue. Hopefully they improve the setup as time goes on. I prefer how they switch the top-down and angled, and hope that they keep it.

The amount of "play faster" is so annoying. Chill out, enjoy the game his turns aren't that long.. GG Zee
