Love it! Could you do the pull test on every review? I'm looking for a rig to pull a bicycle trailer and or wagon with 2 little ones. I'd prefer not pelting them with debris. I thought the SCX-6 was my only option until discovering the Cross Emo X. I can't find a good review on the Emo though. Hint, hint.

LoL! I bought a cool looking 1/10 RC Range Rover Sport from Tesco for £35, they were "clearance", and stacked up right by the self checkout. It was rude not to grab one! It looks absolutely fantastic with it's fully licensed body, but the steering and motor, (the steering is also just a motor with a sort of slipping clutch), is terrible. A 10 degree slope seems to defeat it! I noticed that evening that Argos had 'em at £20 .. . .

Fun video. :) I'm a bit new on these rock crawlers and probably asking silly question but wouldn't that flex test be simpler and more accurate if measuring angle that front axle can flex before rear tire gets off the ground? Wouldn't even need any extra math/scaling/whathaveuyou to see which is the best.

I'll take my fully built up wpl c-24 to compete on them charts any day of the week, its performance is unmatched in the 1/16th scale size but it's doing 1/10th scale sh!t lol.

Scx6 honcho is very very nice,BUT the turning circle is terrible, is it the servo or can it be improved?

The stock servo is decent. I haven't swapped mine out yet, but swapping to aluminum front shock towers with pan hard bar mount helps a ton. The plastic mount has to much flex which hurts the turning radius and robs some of the power of the stock servo.

I have had that same scx24 for a year now and its been a fun toy to do with my son. We installed a custom winch on the hood using a lighter buddy and a treble hook.

The most interesting part is, it only takes 50-55ish pounds of force to move your van. Way back in 1992 at a RC monster truck competition there were a couple sled pullers that could pull a Chevy S10 truck, never would have thought someone would sell an RC out of the box that would pull a car.

You need to reevaluate the turning scores. You should do a factor of the turning radius to the track width. Also, the steering rate on the SCX6 looks like it was turned down. I've seen them turn much tighter than that box stock.

Nope... the Hyraxs for the SCX6 are 185mm... so the stock ones are probably about the same. 108 is 1/10 size!

14:55 in the practical category you could add where and what you can do with it. That would mean your ability to use the SCX6 would be limited to larger areas BUT you'd be able to cross large(r) rocks with it but you couldn't use it indoors. The SCX24 you could use it in MORE places but you'd be limited to what you could do with it by the size of the rocks etc. I have a gravel drive out front of my place and the mini crawler bounces all over the place same as my 144001. It'd be best on a dirt or crushed gravel/pea stone area. The SCX6 wouldn't even scoff at the gravel. That might be the subject of another video: pros and cons of mini vs 1/10th vs 1/6th scale. (I'll take a commish on your youtube revenues my man! lol)

the ravine is amazing. mine is stock and goes frequently to the park where it takes everyting( leaves, tall grass, fallen tree braches, dirt and so one. total reliability and simplicity with a basic 2s lipo. at home i use a smaller set of tires and its a stress relieve climbing pillows, shoes and whatever you have at home.
