Awesome vid! It would be really nice to have a graphic pop up or something tallying how many gym leaders and elite four members you and your opponent have found every time you find one to help viewers keep track if that's something you want to do.

You should challenge 4 mediocre speed runners to a lockout at the same time BUT they are each doing a different game, LOZ,Mario odessy,Pokémon,Minecraft, and every 5 minutes you have to switch games while they keep playing their individual ones

This is very entertaining. I usually don't sit through a entire playthrough but this great by both players.

I feel like this would be more fun if Rayquaza was banned it just makes the all the battles a cakewalk. I would love to see more of this and different gens if possible :D
@lifetake31032 жыл бұрын
But the battles really aren't the main point and rather just a dumb inconvenience and if you can pull rayquaza in helps mitigate that inconvenience. Because really if ray got banned you're gonna see a lot of dumb grinding for the elite 4 because their pokemon are always incredibly underleveled.

@@lifetake3103 To further support your point, I would also argue that, as it's a randomizer, finding rayquaza is *part* of the run. If you can't find and catch ray, you have a much harder time with the run, so it's an extra side-goal to hunt after in all the chaos.

Imagine if instead of just randomizing, somebody manually changes the loading zones to come up with the craziest "random" map

As fun as this looks, I think this is an absolute nightmare to keep track of, especially if you’re a casual such as myself.

Yeah you would need extensive game knowledge to even come close to beating this in a reasonable time

I can confirm it's an absolute nightmare to track. I did a randomizer and tried to keep a notepad file of where each house/location led to. Organized it by town and which building it was (first, second, third etc.) from the bottom-left. But some ports lead to so many loading zones, it becomes an absolute clusterfuck haha. I even separated important things like pokemon centers/marts and dedicated a section to where I had ports between towns. I followed their same rules of 'have to do the gyms in order' and I lost my damn mind trying to get between different towns before I had HMs. So many dead ends....

Hey Smallant! I’m a huge fan! I love your videos. You’re not only my favourite KZbinr, but my favourite twitch streamer too! Your videos always put a smile on my face :)

I'm curious how SmallAnt and aDrive did their labeling system/notes for marking down which loading zones go where. If I was doing a loading zone randomizer, I think I would want to set up an elaborate giant map labeled with numbers and an "IN" column of what the outside looks like (where you start) and an "OUT" column where you end up (where the door takes you.) That would help me keep the information organized by having a visual aid of the map and the corresponding numbers. I think I had caught this live while SmallAnt was chucking ultra balls at Rayquaza? Geez he edits these so quickly.
@ankthares64742 жыл бұрын
since entry and exit lead to each other, you can just put same number for the entry and the exit on the map
