Just discovered your videos. Really like them. Thank you. I'm 60. Have metastatic PC. PSA was 525 6 months ago. Now 13. Am on hormonal (Orgovyx and Nubequa). Also Lutetium trial. I've done resistance from the beginning. No weight gain. Fatigue occasionally, but not much. Exercise in concert with diet: typical breakfast or early dinner is avocado, broccoli, pumpernickle bread, red beans, sunflower seeds, Greek yogurt (plain), purple yam, arugula olives, blueberries, sauerkraut, sardines or salmon.

@@ExerciseElixirPCa Thank you, Dr. PSA now at 3.4. Three more Lutetium infusions. Still working out vigorously, walking, running in spurts, hiking. And minimal erectile dysfunction.

Great video 👍 I have 3 + 4 Gleason score prostate cancer and I have opted for active surveillance. I am doing plenty walking and body weight exercises like pushups, I’m feeling great and I hope by doing these exercises it will stop my cancer spreading.

Great video! Doctor, I enjoyed watching your video. I am 67, with prostate cancer spreading to the lymph nodes. Lupron Depot and Zytiga with Prednisone are the medications prescribed by my Doctor. I have taken the meds for a few days, but it is too early to report side effects except for hot flashes and tiredness. I agree with your recommendation to exercise. Exercise has helped me much, along with meditation and healthy eating. I recommend for anyone to exercise as much as you can. I know that it can heal you. Doctor, please keep posting more videos. Thank You!

Hi Cesar, thank you for your comment. I'm glad to hear that there are no side effects, and that's possibly because of the corticosteroids (Prednisone). However, it's better not to sit and wait for any side effects, prevention is better than treatment. There are things your can do for the fatigue and the hot flushes too! Keep exercising, and I'm here to support you if you need to. Keep fighting!

Well I am 75 and advance prostate cancer in all my lymph nodes. I hardly have enough energy just to stand up. The day long sweats drain me and with a pacemaker for a bad heart the sweats give me angina life not worth living like this. I lived a lot better life before they told I had cancer and started hormone therapy. Never told me of the bad side affects especially not talking to my heart doctor. Now I have breast bigger than a lot of women too,!

@@gvet47 I'm sorry to hear that! Please do whatever you can to take care of your health! Clean your diet, try to do things that cheer you up, and you may slowly build the energy to go for walks. Then build on from there

@@gvet47 I am 77 and I was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer six months ago and on Lupron and Erleada. I’ve been a runner and a biker most of my adult life. I have found that I cannot run any longer. However, I ride an electric bike. The new electric bikes are great for us old timers. Not only do you move your legs but you can adjust how hard you want to work. I ride about 80 miles a week. Make it enjoyable, ride to a coffee shop close by and have a cup of coffee and ride home. I also bought some light weights and use them every morning when I get up and every evening before bed. It only takes about five or 10 minutes and I am actually stronger than before my cancer. Getting out of the house and riding for an hour or two makes a world of difference. I also ride my motorcycle 2 to 3 days a week. Just enjoy life and take every day that the good Lord has given us.

I have been doing calisthenics push ups crunches pull ups dips etc very helpful losing fat and becoming stronger. I had radiotherapy and half way through 6 month adt

You need choline to build muscle mass, but high choline levels are related to high % of death in prostate cancer patients. How do you reconcile this dilemma?

Hi Winston, great question. You need choline to live, not to just build muscle. You can't 'starve' cancer by starving yourself from the nutritients your healthy cells need. The trick is to eat eggs in moderation, and to exercise so a) the choline is uptaken by your muscle cells, and b) the exercise creates an anti-tumor environment. Does that make sense?

Hi Dr Geo... at 78 I am about to receive Radiotherapy for Prostate Cancer.. I go to the Gym 5 days a week and have done for years..stretches.. cardio and heavy weights.. the cancer has not spread..I am reluctance do ADT...I have quite enough side effects from other meds.. am I correct in thinking the weight training may continue the production of testosterone and am therefore taking a risk?

I can't offer advice on this, as I'm not a medical professional nor an accredited dietician. However, personality, I avoid soy products and vegetable oils almost completely

Agree wholeheartedly that hormone therapy impacts mood. I have cognitive changes that feel quite foreign to me, and these are the side effects of the drugs (my drugs: Orgovyx and Nubeqa).
