I only found you today. Watched your video , totally by chance, of you with all the yarns behind you and felt instantly...what a beautiful woman and a kinship . I used to spin and knit. My daughters do too. One had cancer young and is now in her sixties. Still knitting. My son had it at fifty.... now nearly five years clear. All will be well for you....just have faith and hope. And just having watched another video ,when all your beautiful hair has taken a holiday....you are still beautiful. I wish you strength, courage and happiness . Enjoy life and keep off sugar. Just found your channel. I’m not even in any way inclined to doing knitting/crafts, but am really enjoying your content. Certainly not enjoying the cancer battle you’re currently in, but enjoying the fact that I’m already caring about your journey and seeing the positive outcome. Watching you recently has been a really fun part of my decision…to learn spinning! Starting with 5 lbs of Spincycle leftover fiber, local classes and a wheel/carder etc rental package starting next week! Woo-hoo!!

Glad you are feeling a bit better and I pray your next round is not quite so tough on you. I love seeing your creative work and I appreciate how you assessed your success in Tour de Fleece this year. We are always trying to measure our success based on productivity, but there are so many ways to measure whether we feel successful with respect to something in our lives. I have always wanted to participate in Tour de Fleece but life circumstances did not allow for that. This year I was finally able to do so but by many metrics, I failed. You helped to see that I didn't because I got back to spinning and some creative work that has been on hiatus for many years, even though I could not spin on many of the days. Virtual hugs and prayers for you in the coming days.

Hang in. I’m getting my first hair cut since my chemo regimen last year 😊. I’m working on a Vellichor much like yours, navy blue, greens and blues zauberwolle crazy with gold stripes every fifth round. Yours looks great. I’m at 10 out of 12 inches on the body.

Sarah, I just recently found your channel. Please tell me the correct spelling of your name? I am also a handspinner and I can tell you that you do AWESOME getting 2 skeins of that beautiful yarn spun up! My efforts in years of Tour De Fleece have also "petered out" because for so many of us, life happens. Ha! The point is, you had a pretty big life event, chemotherapy, and so obviously, this spinning was a blessing and way to get through a very difficult medical therapy. I pray for your continued healing and am following your channel closely, my dear. Many good wishes and healing vibes sent your way!
