This one took about 3 hours to make from start to finish. Hope you all enjoy.
I forgot to enable tessellation at the end of the video too so be sure to check out the final render here: i.imgur.com/ZeL...
Soundtrack is from the film Psycho.

Umm , Noob Alert here but please anyone can tell me why he used Fibonacci spiral (Golden spiral) for Sun location and other proportions , please respond , thank you !
@ankitpassi
@ankitpassi 8 жыл бұрын
It is a mathematical representation of Natural Occurring Phenomenons . I never thought of using it in any way possible . So basically You are using it to control the flow of Contrast from the Sun and such that It feels "random" like Sun but still the Sunlight flows seamlessly from User's Perspective. I love how you used it though , Can't say for others but It really strikes out for me , Saw Many Speedlevels but never saw anyone using this . Can you please Link me more designs which in any way uses Fibonacci Spiral, I think I'm gonna use it in my levels . Awesome Work , Thank you for Clear Explanation!

It's kind of funny to see you doing all this in just 3 hours. Them why the hell it takes a triple A company to get the same result about 3 or o years? Dude, stop making these and go make your own game. You gonna be rich!
@ALSPEHEIR
@ALSPEHEIR 8 жыл бұрын
***** Thanks for the reply. I didn't knew that games where so complicated since the big companies usually have an army of programmers, 3D model artists and so on. That should in theory, speed up the process. Anyway, saw your game and looks awesome. Just a question: if you are making that game alone, why don't you make a game that the story makes you "re-use" the same enviroment again and again? Just look at that game that was the teaser for the cancelled Silent Hill. It was just a simple house. Maybe a small island with a cabin in the middle is all you need for a good game while not having to loose too much time modeling it.
@ALSPEHEIR
@ALSPEHEIR 8 жыл бұрын
***** Good luck with your game, mate. Thought it looks gorgeous, a good story is always more important than graphics. So if you are in doubt if you should add more backstory or loose time trying to make that dust even more realistic, I tell you, forget the dust. A good story is all you need. Everything else is a bonus. And congratulations for your amazing work!
