@@paulyflyer8154 I've only just done 600 miles so it needs its first running in service but so far so good. The only thing I have encountered is when the engine is hot it sometimes stalls as you go to pull away. I am hoping they will be able to address this during the service. I suspect it is due to Euro 5 regs and running the engine lean. Apart from that it seems to be perfect.

Hi Kate as a lad of the 50s / and 60s it's a blast from the past so many bike manufacturers are doing the retro thing, I do love them, but at Thirteen years old in 1969 it was the up and coming Japanese machines I dreamt of. Once more a very nice and gentle video of a marvelous cruiser bike. It’s not my cup of tea in terms of preferences in what concerns to this glorious machines on two wheels, just because the body position on this type of bike is too laidback for my taste. Despite the fact that I ride tested a Yamaha TMAX and could enjoy the comfort, but that’s the maximum relaxed position that I can stand riding a bike. I love that 1200 Triumph engine and my bike of choice from the Bonneville family would be the T120 and of course the Thruxton. They are really good and premium bikes. Ride safe! ✌️✌️

@@chrishart8548 Yes I did. I think many manufacturers opt for the base suspension except for their premium models in order to position their mainstream models at a competitive price point. Understandably so. What I fail to grasp is how so many buyers can shell out their dollars for a so called premium product and then have to spend more to upgrade the suspension and engine in order to make their machine what it should have been when it rolled off the showroom floor. I’m not speaking of Triumph either. We all know the elephant in the room. Sadly some manufacturers seek to emulate that strategy. Frankly, I’d rather spend a few more dollars up front and have competent machine that I can take pride in.
