I have the heated gloves 2.0, and in winter doing dives at 5° and scooter rides are comfortable. Without them my fingers would freeze. But an extra liner over them is not needed. They also let you stay warm even ifnyour gloves flood.

I’m ready for dry gloves. 🧤 78 minutes in 49F/9.5C water in a mid-weight undergarment with 5mm gloves was definitely the limit for me for that setup.

How much fine finger dexterity do you compromise on with those Santi gloves? Are they bulky?

No not at all, they are thinsulate and are not to fluffy, they are actually realy good as a standard glove, regardless if heating is on or not. On cold dives in around 5c° water temp i usually wait for about 45/60min before i turn them on. Always remember any heating system should just provide extra comfort. And especially on dives requiring considerable decompression you should not solely rely on electric heating.

Which dry gloves do you use? If I put on my Santi heated Gloves 2.0, there are to bulky to fit in my Showa 660 in XXL. The finger are to fat to fit in the dry glove.

They are standard heavy duty vinyl gloves, turned inside out so the white shows.
