When you were journaling and then looked up to take a sip from your mug, I could tell that in that moment, you were comfortable with being on your own, only with your thoughts. I go in and out of these times where I'm fully present and happy with my own thoughts and nothing else, and then for a few weeks I'm back to always searching for the next thing to distract me, like podcasts, youtube, instagram, music. I'm sure you have those times too, but it's nice when I'm not in that mindset and see you in it. Kinda takes me out of the distractions and brings me back in. This is rambling, but just something I notice and appreciate! so thanks!

@@jenniferisabitch9517 Never too young to get odd jobs and start saving some money. You can get friends or family to rent a cabin in a state park somewhere and just have a week or a weekend. Hannah didn’t drop into this she has worked very hard for it plus her time traveling in her van, making and selling clothes, modeling, etc. Keep your dreams young one and make choices that bring them to you. The outcome of our lives is often the sum of the choices we make. Read, learn what it’s going to take, as you are obviously still in school, find opportunities and projects that can add to your having this dream. There is a program in Scouting calked Ventures. I was a leader in it a few years ago. I do think you have to be 15 to start but it is co-ed and the youth are in Crews. You not only learn camping, woodcraft, and nature skills but the point of the group is adventures. We did white water, mountain climbing, rappelling, caving, hiking and kyack if, all sorts of stuff. Ventures builds social, survival and woodcraft skills, especially if you get in a very active Crew. The things you learn are all things Hannah has had to do on her own. She does have support, good parents, a sister and a fellow that’s an uncle or a cousin, I forget which that help her at times. Most of all Ventures builds confidence! Check with your local Scout Council to find out what’s available in your area. If you want this life bad enough you will find a way! When the human spirit is determined achievement will follow. Good luck!

I am 57 years old..and a widow now but I was a lot like Hannah when I was young..fearless and independant. Looking backwards, I realise now that the most difficult lesson that I had to learn was how to just be still...and be with myself. The world that most of us grew up in taught us dependence on others and unworthiness alone. The exact opposite was actually true. What i eventually came to know through my own journey was that independence is our greatest strength and that worthiness ..comes from within. The only way to realise these critical things is to just be still and be with yourself. I am so happy for Hannah. Love and peace.

Every human needs to know, feel, & understand solitude. It’s absolutely necessary. To experience an extended amount of time alone in hopefully a comfortable space to love, think, reflect, sing, dance, laugh, cry, scream, breathe, rediscover & re-new as a complex living entity is the greatest gift this life allows. This particular scenario may not be feasible financially or otherwise for most, but it’s still totally available. Go inside yourself & create. For you, friends, family & all of beautiful humanity’s sake. It’s such a joy over here on the other side of judgement & hatred. Personally & worldly. Earthly!!🙏🏼🥂❤️

This has made me excited to move back into my cabin. I’ve been putting it off moving in the height of winter. But I remember how peaceful it felt to be more surrounded by nature and spend more time doing and less time thinking about doing. Thanks for this ..you’re great 🇬🇧

There was some movie where the main character was asked why she left her little town, and she said "there was no one's life I wanted..." and I never got that. Like, surely you are a different person and want different things, why are you looking to other people to decide what you want to live like? But now... I get it. This is the life I want to live. Time to start working on it

She sure is one in a million. Wish to know somebody like Hanna. At least I know one now and if you could notice how much viewers and subscribers she gathered lately. More power to Hanna.

I struggled to find the words to compliment this video, but I don't think I can do it justice. It was captivating, magical, cozy, inspiring, awesome and so many other words I can't think of right now. I smiled the whole way through. I swore I smelled the pine branches and the fire, the candles and the Christmas tree, felt the winter chill, gasped when the shrew exited the trap and grinned when you howled. Such amazing work. Thank you!

The other cabin looks like a nice root cellar. :) You have ventilated cold storage where you can hang potatoes, onions and garlic in reused potatoe sacks from the rafters. :) If you ever decided to plant and grow your own food.:) The candles I use too to keep the dampness out. I just bought a Coleman Northstar lantern and that works super great for heating, lighting and working and a nice hand warmer. :) Watch the wood pile in your home because it will atract winter mites and they do not leave until later Spring. :( All the best Merry Christmas! :)

This is exactly what I want to live. I still love the city, but a quiet life in a forested area with the simple things is what I want. I know it wasn't easy creating it, but the fruits of your labor speak volumes!
