Hi Karen! There's a children's book that just came out this past week called "Eyes that Kiss in the Corners" written by Joanna Ho and illustrated by Dung Ho. This book talks about the beauty of Asian eyes, and I definitely wish this book had been around when I was a young Asian girl. I know Dove is still really young, but I think it would be a great book to read to her as she gets a little older. I bought the book today and I plan to keep it for when I have kids in the future! I want my future kids to know that their Asian eyes are beautiful!!

And you have to say that dove seems to be a pretty chill baby. I was crying non stop for the first year of my life and my mom couldn't do anything to stop it. Dove seems like more "easy" to take care of than many other babies!

@@loen2629 for sure! From what I know my siblings were crying all the time when they were younger and my mom was super stressed all the time since she was basically by herself. Dove does seem like an easier baby but we also don’t see everything so who knows how she’s been/will be. I think the main point is that all raisins (people raising children) need awards for all they do :-)

Time really flies !!! Happy 5 months old to baby Dove!! I’ve been following your videos since you’ve given birth , my baby is coming 4 months old so I can relate to all your videos SO MUCH. Your videos have given me some sense of normalcy if normal is even in a momma’s dictionary 😂. There are good days and also bad days but guess it’s the love for our babies that gets us through. Also wanted to say thank you for being so inspirational. Especially on your choice on how baby is to be fed , your post gave me a lot of strength especially with all these mom guilt- I finally got the courage to wean off breastfeeding 3 weeks back. It was taking a toll on me mentally and physically - I have a toddler to take care too so it was hard. But I’m glad that things are all working out now. You are such a good mom to Dove and she’s so adorable ! 💖 sending some love to both you and Dove !
