She’s lazy AF. She doesn’t even feed the cats herself, gives them dry food instead of wet food for breakfast. She wakes up at 7, but the automatic cat feeder is not until 7:30. Why can’t she feed them wet food herself. She has a nice big breakfast though. lol. Plus she complains about how she worked 3 hours straight and how hard it is on her. lol. Jesus the hardship. She does art all day. These youtubers are so delusional.

My mornings start at 3am 😅. I work a dayjob and take care of my elderly Dad as well as being an artist, working on my body of work before doing a full launch right now. So breakfast and lunch prep, wash up pack things up, warm up my vehicle, help my dad with meds and getting him fed with lunch in the Instapot or something I have ready that he can grab. I'll sketch a little until my alarm goes off and I leave for work from 6a-3p, grab any groceries and things, try to be home by 4. Check on my Dad, meds again for him with dinner, walk and play with my Dogs, clean a little, paint/sketch some more until bed. Some days I don't do any art and allow myself some reading or gaming time (need to wiggle in the fun here and there). Days off I rest and take care of Dad, with longer periods of art time. It's hard but quite fulfilling. ❤

girl, thanks for this video! As someone is also self employed, my routine has gone to traaash! I like that you a weekly schedule written out. It's typed out, pasted on the fridge, and (for me) it seems like it can stop those "wandering around your apt just wasting time" moments. I'm going to try it out! Thanks Paloma!

I forgot there's people out there who enjoy waking up super early and being productive in the mornings haha. I have ADHD which gives me a delayed circadian rhythm so my most productive/creative hours are usually between 8 PM and 3 AM. I was a little shocked when you got up at 7 AM but I really appreciate that you mentioned that everyone is different and will have different productivity hours because sometimes people are like YOU HAVE TO GET UP SUPER EARLY OR ELSE and I feel so guilted by it! This was a really helpful video to watch
@palomathepeach2 жыл бұрын
ofc!! i think if you have the option to choose your schedule then why not? i can’t stay up past 11pm because my mental health severely spirals after that time and i tend to fall into a depressive cycle, same thing happens if i sleep in too late. we all have diff ways of taking care of ourselves!!
@OvrStim12 жыл бұрын
Hey same! Mine is a little later, and it's a big problem because that is a timeframe when I complete things the most productively and I like to wait until that time to start my school projects and stuff. Because I'm in college, most of my stuff is due AT midnight, but I usually like to work PAST midnight. I also have to wake up early (8am) on some days because of the time my classes are at. My natural circadian rhythm is sometime like 4:30am-2pm and it really makes me feel terrible waking up so late in the day.

So much credit to people who go through the extra step to look ✨stunning✨ even if they aren’t leaving the house. I can’t even get ready when I’m going somewhere 😂 Also…I’ve never had pesto eggs and that sounds fricken amazing. I always buy pesto and I feel like it’s only really good right after opening it. After it’s been in the fridge it just doesn’t hit the same. But I feel like frying it up with some eggs would really rejuvenate it! Definitely going to try it.

i hate that i love mornings so much as for the aesthetics: mornings are so calming, the light is just right and beautiful, there's all this beautiful stuff happening in the nature and... other than that, i just am not a morning person. my creativity & energy level spikes at 9-11pm and continues well after midnight; before that, i can do creative stuff in short bursts but mostly would need to spend the first two halves of the day resting, kinda naturally preparing for the inspiration that will come. but that means i have to sleep late, if i also stay up late: and then i miss out on all the beautiful morning stuff. :( there's no easy way to get them both

for me, both mornings and evenings are the most productive but from 12-17/18h my energy just dips. idk why, but I just cannot get myself to do things during that time which I used to fight a lot but recently I‘ve just come to accept that this is how I work/ how my body works so I‘ll just go at it in the mornings and evenings, and take it easy during the day. But it was definitely a lot of mental work to come to terms with this!

I'm a manga artist who works from home and over the last few years I've just been in my PJs all day and do nothing but work. I think I might try getting ready in the morning like you because then there's less barrier to leaving the house during the day. It's so hard to do a schedule especially when I'm behind on deadlines but my health needs something to change!

I'm pretty good with managing my time, keeping a work, training vs. relaxation schedule but one thing I wasn't ready for are shady clients. Right now a buyer owes me $390 and keeps dodging me. It's been several weeks so I'm not expecting to get that money. It's the dark side of this line of work but freelancers should be prepared for such a thing.
