Here’s my review on the Wrangler Wrancher Dress Jean! A lot of people have trouble sizing them, so I’d thought I’d give some insight. If you’re looking for a fun pair of flared pants, this is the one.

Found my first pair at a thrift store years ago, glad to see these are gaining popularity. I’ve since bought 7 pairs. The older US-made ones are slightly sturdier fabric. Out of all my pants, these Wranchers may be my favorite. Plenty of available colors, a durable fabric, they always look fresh, cut works great with sneakers/sandals/Bean Boots/cowboy boots, etc. They go well with a t-shirt or sport coat & dress shirt. Perfect for working at home without dressing like Jeff Lewbowski. Only drawbacks: don’t sit too close to a fire (ask me how I know this) the Wrangler tag on the back (a tailor can remove it) They could come in more fun patterns/colors (stripes, plaid, bright) A relatively narrow hip area (It’s best to go 1-2” up in size)

Excellent review. I am a really huge Wrangler ® jeans fan and have a vast collection, but the last time I had a pair of Wrancher ® jeans (Cool Brown/Mesh color) was way back in '04. Your review of the pants may make me reconsider and give the Wrancher ® poly-twill pants a second look.

those are only a straight boot cut, they used to make a bootcut flare and a larger bell bottom in the poly but hard ta find now. But no not a flare too small, you need to get over 10in across to have a true flare.

agree it’s more of a bootcut, but relative to how conservative men’s fashion is now, it’s not flares in the definitive sense, but i’d say it is in a relative sense

I wear a size 34 most of the time, and I had to go up to a 42! The waist is a little big but the butt and thighs fit better. Granted, I do lift and my glutes and quads are pretty big because I do NOT skip leg day! Also, these pants in black, with a pair of black cowboy boots, black snap shirt, western belt and bolo tie (and maybe a leather jacket weather permitting) is my go-to, and it's so incredibly sharp!

Great vid, I usually wear a 38 (Levi’s 501s) and I sized up to a 40 but it was wayyyy too tight so I went up to a 44, fingers crossed that these fit!!

Levi 31 in 511 Ordered the 33 and way too tight Consider a 34 but because I’m an avid gym goer and I’m a little on the thicker side on my legs the VA from wrangler advised me to go up to a 35. 33 zipped up and was snug at my waste but the thighs were so tight I couldn’t even bend down

if you want it to fit perfectly at the waist, then go up one size. It might be tighter on the thigh though

Really needed this video! Like said in the beginning, I been scrolling on reddit for reviews of these shits lmfao so thanks for making this! Clean vid. Got a question though, I have pretty muscular and big thighs and calves, from whats said in this video the calves won't be a problem but from what I've seen thighs might be a problem, and like you I like leg room around my thighs. Should I size up like you said? I'm a size 34 waist.

Yeah if your thighs are muscular, go up at least two sizes imo. If you have a good tailor, it's always easier to take material out. It's rough for the big thigh small waist gang

Update: Just took delivery of 5 pairs of Wranchers in my "true to size" measurements (30/29) and they fit perfectly. I had spoke with a customer service rep who recommended I do likewise. Not sure if there was a quality control issue or if most people think their waist size is the marked size on pants they usually buy. As of 5/2021, these are true to size. That said, I have pretty slim legs/thighs and can see how two people with the same measured waist would fit into these pants differently. Know your measurements and body type!

i err on the side of caution since tight at the seat/thigh can’t be easily fixed, whereas a bit more room in the waist can be belted or tailored. glad tts worked for you!

hey, i’d go 33 in the waist and the same inseam as you usually would! if you have bigger thighs, then go 34 instead

Wranglers should be more popular because if you are man who tucks his shirt in an does not like that 1 side wedgie well you have found the right pair of pants wranglers have one step above all pans they are not made out of stretch material and they have larger belt loops.
