This is always a beautiful ride taking the hunters to and from their destination. I've watched this trip ever since you started the channel! I remember how worried Baron was last year. The hunters in their camouflage clothes seemed to scare Baron. If I remember correctly, you didn't bring Baron on the trip to bring the hunters back out since he was so worried going in! Brenda, please rest that painful leg so it can heal. If it's sciatica, that's slow to heal. I will keep you in prayer and ask Jesus to heal that strained muscle.🙏 Thanks Jim for an enjoyable ride!

Jim you are getting plenty of alternative suggestions regarding canoe dollies .#1 show how you truck your fore cart ( and leave there for the week ). #2 show large locked steel gate at parking area (and how you and hunters get around it )#3 show how hunters haul their canoes and gear to parking site . Just my opinion but you maybe trying to fix a small problem .One canoe tips over ,nothing broken and 5 mins to repack .So co clusion you and the hunters have a good system now .😊😊😊

Jim,h h thank you for taking us along on the trip to deliver the hunting group into the pond. I hope Brenda recovers shortly with her leg issue. That's quite walk into the pond for the hunters balancing the canoes and gear. . I like your idea of utilizing a farm wagon and building a racks to carry the canoes and the gear. Baron and Earl performed admirably on their 10 mile walk back and forth. . I hope the hunters have a satellite phone with them in case of an emergency.

Really enjoyed this walk in the woods. My fav time of year, after levels fall, so I can see into the bush. So many ridges, gullies creeks etc. it’s so entertaining. Baron and Earl are looking good. Love the sound of the jingle jangle of the harness and cart. No doubt there would not be an animal within earshot of the jingle 😂. All the best for Brenda. Hugs 🇨🇦

When I watch your videos about being in the woods with your horses, I begin to fantasize about living during the time when that’s all you had to use. No modern devices, no phone, no TV, just relying on your own abilities.

Thank you for your videos. A comment: I had a horse for about a year. He was thought to be part Clydesdale because of the white feathering on his lower legs. When I picked up his feet to clean them, I would lean a little bit against him, and this put him a tiny bit off balance, and he always picked up his feet. This worked for the back feet too.

You remind me of my grandpa, who was a diary farmer in Wisconsin. My family, both sides Mom and Dad go back a long way. My Dad’s side, whom you remind me of, goes back to 1771 in the U.S. and my Mom’s goes back to the 1820s, and the family still has the original 100 acre farm in Wisconsin it’s, 160 year old farm. When the canoe tipped over my first thought was “I wonder if outriggers on the carts would help.” Just an axel or 2 per cart like bicycle training wheels. They would hang out to the sides and only touch the ground when needed.

Hoping Brenda feels better soon…..I am in my 70’s and back in 2019 I did something to my leg where I could barely lift the leg.. My doctor thought it was tendonitis so he prescribed me a compound cream. The cream worked great for 4 years +. This year I saw a bone Dr and he thought it was to do with the femoris muscle and said to do physical therapy. I had to go in anyway for torn rotator cuff. The therapy has helped that leg tremendously. But I do have to keep up with the exercises.

The Redheads are looking good! Back in the day… canoes were loaded on wagons and hauled up the rivers or wherever, for hunting or fishing. Jim , you might rig a wagon to carry several canoes and gear. Maybe just a flat floor would work? I have seen some good pictures of horse drawn wagons loaded with canoes… maybe at the museum in Blue Mountain? Well worth a visit. Really enjoyed the trip through the woods with you and “The Boys!” Could you load the horses side by side and carry the cart in the trailer ?
